So, we have this nice little timers in Daily and Monthly categories, which tell us how much time we’ve got left to finish achievments.
Why don’t you add a thing like this to the Living Story category?
Yes. This would be a very nice thing to have. Right now I don’t even know how bosses in Queen’s Jubilee look like because of all this effects.
Can we have an option to give him some money please?
This little guy is adorable.
So, I tried to play elementalist after playing guardian. With guardian everything was easy – even with bad armour to which I didn’t pay many attention I had good damage and survivability. With ele, however, it’s much more difficult. I’m new to the game, and not very good with dodging yet, which seems to be more important for ele survival than it was for guardian.
So my question is: what armour should I wear to have decent damage, but not die from a few hits from mob?
PS. I’m playing mostly solo pve and want to do dungeons and fractals later. Using this build:

It gives you one ticket and 4 silver, if I remember correctly. (And if you read the tooltip for the bag it looks like Evon is bribing you to vote for him, lol)
I loved this game, but achievements are indeed spoil it a little. Still more fun than hunger games though .
- unlimited salvage kit
- skirts and dresses for town clothes (especially the dress that human nobles wear)
- bigger bags
What’s ironic is how Evon supporters are voting for him because of the fractal (due specifically to lore reasons). Yet they fail to take into account the lore being setup if Evon takes the chair.
I disagree with you here. Since I don’t do fractals and don’t really care about WP and BLK, I actually choose between two candidates here. And you know what? Ellen is extremely boring. Sure, in real world she would’ve been my choise, but in game this “good girl with no flaws” thing is just not interesting. I want to see characters with personality and flaws. Evon may be shady, but at least it’s interesting to watch him.
Thank you for the answers!
Now I found a reason to play sylvari, didn’t know they had such an interesting piece of lore.
I agree . It feels like we are actually doing something important now, since our decision will change things. Even if that changes won’t be very big , it’s still very cool.
In my personal story I saw Trahearne summon necromancer’s minions, so I assumed he is necromancer.
But then I looked more closely and noticed a few weird things :
-his weapon is greatsword (necromancers can’t use it)
-he sometimes uses guardian and mesmer skills
- I’m not sure about this one, but the skill he uses most (which looks like a lightning bolt) looks more like elementalist skill to me.
So can someone please explain, why he uses skills from different professions?
I love your idea! Hope it becomes true.
P.S. If you speak to Evon, he says that he and player met before. Can someone tell me if I missed something,or could it be a hint to his letters as Mr.E?
I don’t understand why businessman = devil in everybody’s mind.
Evon/Anet is not a good businessman. He rips his customers off (RNG Skins)
without delivering a quality product for their money.
Ever heard of the thing called “lottery”? If you gamble too much, it’s not Anet/Evon’s fault.
I don’t understand why businessman = devil in everybody’s mind.
Evon is well suited to be in a PIRATE council, he knows how to operate with shady people. He wants this position and knows what to do with it.
Also, I don’t see how he buys his power. Both candidates promised us goodies.
Kiel, on the other hand, does not even want this position, Magnus ordered her to do it. It feels like vote for her in reality is vote for Magnus, so he can have more influence in the council.
PS: I like both candidates, just tired of people saying that Ellen is saint and Evon is evil.
Why would you vote for this shady charr?
He’s selling us Aetherblade armor in his shop, where do you think he got it?
I like this, yes.
I would love to play thief/warrior skritt.
Thank you for the idea. I’ll try to report it as a bug. But the problem is, this happens in almost every location with mountains. (Especially near Orr)
I think it has something to do with Glyph of Renewal.
It can revive the elementalist who is attuned to fire. However, this skill has a very long cooldown, so he couldn’t use it three times in a row.
AMD Radeon HD 7700, Windows XP
I’m having a very weird problem with graphics. Sometimes walls or floor become invisible at some angles. And it’s difficult to play when you don’t know if you are going to fall or bump into the wall.
Does anyone know how to fix it? Maybe I need to change something in graphic options?
Is her recognition dialogue still presented to people who have just started the game and have no idea what she’s talking about with Southsun?
No. When I talked to her, she didn’t recognize me.
