I finally got my 77 clovers (80 actually) it took me 40 tries of the 10x recipe (400 ectos, 400 shards, 400 coins, 400 crystals) so stop complaining about your “wahhh it took me a whole stack”

I like how the guy who posted the pic of colossus has 2 Ancient Karka bags. Were you one of the ones who got to open the chest and also got it in the mail while others didnt get anything? And if you were I bet you got several precursors from that too. lucky kitten.

1st, You guys do relize that in the “show filters” on trading post there has been a “legendary” selection in rarity since game release. Why would they have that if it they were not supposed to be allowed on the TP? 2nd, WHO CARES ????

Yeah they need to change the start time. I have entered it about 15 times this morning and every time as soon as I load I see the second or third snowflake melting away and I immediately get booted. Not even a chance to start.

Frog – I have played the game both on my router and on my campus wireless when I take my computer to school and it doesnt work on either.

Healix – I have done that before and yes I can see it fine.

Yeah I have already done all that. The amount of things I have attempted to try to get it to work is pretty extensive.

I never have had a firewall nor did I put one up. As I said this started with the update. It has to be something about the update (the one that put makeover kits in gem store, so the update had to do with the gemstore/tp aspect of the game specifically)

how doy ou clear router chache? and java?

If you look in the “upcoming changes” section of GW2wiki it says they are planning on putting in a name change option

Killacam – I have now reinstalled the game twice. 3 days worth of downloading. Nothing has changed. It stopped working after the November 27th update that put makeover kits in the TP. I have also ran a “-repair” command in cider, the program that apparently runs GW2 on a mac. When ANET responded to my support ticket they gave me instructions on how to fix a PC (told me to update my windows, fix my IE,etc.) even though I said both in the post, as well as when selecting an operating system that I am on Mac OSx 10.8. Here it is 16 days after it stopped working, and it has not been fixed. Wintersday starts tomorrow. Sad day.

I looked in the “caches” folder and that file was not in there. Just to be safe I dleted every file in there anyways. It did not help. I deleted the GW2 data file in “my documents”, did not help. Maybe the maintenance will do something tomorrow, but probably not

I am not using mumble. I actually deleted GW2 and reinstalled. Took over 30 hours to download everything. And it still doesn’t work. Looks like I am not going to have a trading post for Wintersday ><

You need to hold down the “Fn” button (located on the bottom left) while you hit the F-buttons.

Neither of those show up when I search.

downloading the game seriously takes like 18-24 hours … my internet tops out at 100-150kb/s and i really don’t want to do that again…. as for the cache folder I saw that in a post, yet again I am on a mac so there is no temp file

I don’t have a firewall, and am not sure how to do the other stuff? My TP worked fine up until a few weeks ago (I have been playing since early access weekend) and I did not change a thing. It just stopped working.

Not a kitten thing. I am pretty much getting ignored on all fronts.

My entire black lion trading company (gem store, currency exchange, trading post, sell my stuff, my transactions) has not worked for the past 2 weeks. I submitted a bug report, and went to the “problems with BLTC” thread and posted there, where the dev answered every question that was asked AROUND mine but ignored mine. When I open the window, it will have the yellow circle like its loading indefinately, or that will disappear like it has loaded yet nothing will come up. Sometimes blue/white text will appear on the left hand side but I will not be able to click on any of this. I have switched characters, logged off, restarted my computer, etc. This is really becoming annoying as my crafting has halted to a stop, and my inventory is loaded up with drops I want to sell on TP because selling to a vendor would result in about 5g loss. Do something please, or at least stop ignoring me. I am on the Mac client also, if that helps.

My gem store, currency exchange, TP, sell my stuff, and transactions has not worked for almost a week now. It basically stopped working after the November 27 patch. I thought this recent patch was going to fix it but nope. It just stays a gray screen, even when i move it to the bottom of the screen and let it load for ~30 minutes. It is getting pretty frustrating as I am holding on to all the drops I have gotten that I want to sell, and am having to rely on guildmates to buy things for me and mail them to me. Is there any clue as to what I can do to change this? i have logged many many times, and have done all the suggestions such as having a browser open when you open the game and stuff. Please help me here!

Yup…. 6.5 hours of trying non stop and I didn’t even get any better at it. I can already tell this is going to keep me from the entire event since I will be there trying to get it til it ends.
