Guild Wars 2

Bumping this one! Come come folks!!

A little update. We are still recruiting members. We are still quite small, but then again, we are not striving to become huge.
We have obviously become more experienced, we have a guy who has been doing WvW quite a lot, so he knows what he’s doing, and i must admit we are enjoying WvW very much, even though we still are a PvX guild, just exploring the great content this game has to offer.

So throw me a PM if you are interested in joining a still growing guild, or if you simply have some questions.

A quick salute to TUP, for again doing an phenomenal job on the AM borderlands last night. Seems like everytime you guys start raiding, AM’s potential points fall drastically :b

Obviously a great job to other guild running around too, noticed [RL] were there in good numbers, and some [FIRE] folks too. Looks good!

TUP were awesome. I think i followed you around the entire raid. You guys are real good. During the siege, AM pretty much had nothing in the borderland, FS had claimed it all, since AM needed every man to protect it. Great night, that was really fun.

You TUP are really beasts, even outmanned you guys charge head on into the zerg, and manage to kill them off. I am really impressed, i heard talk, but now i saw it firsthand. kitten was epic, definately gonna tag along next time again if i stumble onto you guys :b

You are completely right. I do not know you. Which is why i’m merely stating what i’m seeing from your posting, that they come off as very arrogant. I’m only saying how i think you are presenting yourself on this forum. Nothing personal in that in my opinion.

Actually, we do playing WvW as it supposed to be played, by taking Keeps, Towers, Supply-Camps etc. it´s that simple.

Okay, didn’t you just read what the guy posted? Those were the official words, of the game developer.
To me, it seems like apparently, you feel like you know how to play WvW, better than the developers do.
As i said earlier, i don’t hate anyone here, i’m fine with you blobbing up, i can run around with my small guild and still have fun capping other things, away from the blob. But your attitude is just ignorant, and very arrogant.

Guild Wars is based on the lore. The Guild wars between guilds of orr and kryta etc.
And not between player guilds.

Ah. Well i figured that much, don’t know what was going on in the first Guild Wars, but i thought it was revolving around GvG stuff or something similar. Oh well, time to brush up on my lore :b And thank you for enlightening me!

Some of the best guilds in gw2 are doing gvg, and here you are calling it “bullkitten”. That`s quite idiotic coming from someone who is scared to even leave the blob.

And if all of the best GW2 guilds playing “gvg”, it makes it not better. In GW2 is´nt GvG. You can write what ever you want, its always bullkitten.

Theres a chance i might sound stupid, but here goes.
Isn’t the game called Guild Wars? So like calling GvG bullkitten, is .. Well .. Bullkitten, atleast to some degree, since there isn’t any GvG mechanic in the game yet.

Not hating on anyone here. I’m new, so i’m still figuring out who to hate

Also i’m trying to lighten the mood a little, don’t take this post fanatically serious!

Funny thing happened at Earies tower tonight. I think we were at FS borderlands, by we i mean AG guys. It was an even fight, around 10v10. We were at the tower, i think we fought for roughly 45 minutes vs FS for the tower. We ended up winning the fight with around 3-4 players remaining including me and a couple of guildies. We started capping the tower. What happens next is quite funny. We were slowly capping, when everything started lagging. I turned around, and there it was. The AM superblob. It was like red goo sweeping over the land, red blood even, that’s how evil it looked. The blob calmly went inside the tower, ran up to us, at this point we had the tower around 80% capped. So they run in, sweep us over and take the tower xD
I’m new to WvW, and if this happens at a regular basis, no wonder why people complain about the blobs!

Edit: The fight vs. FS was awesome by the way! Havn’t had that much fun in WvW!

Hello kind people!

I started playing GW2 a couple of weeks ago. I was drifting around in a couple of guilds, trying to find somewhere i could fit in. This never really happened. So i forced a couple of friends to join me in game. They joined, and this was the beginning of the Tracksuit Wearing Cats. We have played a ton of RPG’s. We played Diablo 2 back when it was godly, we played Diablo 3 not really caring for it that much, and we of course also played WoW. We had a guild in WoW too, purely casual.
When they came to GW2, we decided we’d go ahead and create a guild again.

We are all quite new to the game, currently just us 4 people. We are searching for more mature casual gamers like ourselves. We are searching for new people who just joined the game like us, who just want to explore the great content this game has to offer, and we are also searching for older members who might want to be part of something new and growing, and want to be like a mentor for the rest of us.

There is plenty of chance of rising in the guild rank, since we are new, there is room for every form of improvemet possible. At some point, we will be doing all the available guild activities, we will be doing WvW things, and sPvP stuff. Whatever we can do, we will do it in due time. Since we are not focusing on anything specific, we will try everything once we get going.

We are not looking to create a large guild that feel unpersonal and stuff like that, we want to have a maximum of somwhere around 20 members, that really know eachother well. We are all university students, so we do have exams which we have to tend to, and so there will be days where we can’t play as much.

We usually sit on skype while gaming, but i’m planning on getting a TeamSpeak in due time, if the guild actaully grows.

Remember, we are a very Casual Guild!
