With my super gaming comp it looks great… However there are very little settings to adjust the text to fit…. Even if you go in and adjust, it’s unbalanced.
There should be a default to adjust the text to fit the screen size on hdmi tv setups.
As i said, pve is doable if very careful. What makes ele bad in pve is lack of damage and squishiness. Im master at dodging damage in pve just beacuse of it. I soloed champion mobs laughing at how others sucked at dodging. Than i saw how little they got punished for it. While i would die to 2 hits others were easily soaking up 5+ hits in a row. Than add in the dmg they are doing compared to me… just makes it not worth it at all.
Tbh i can live with crappy pve since im a pvper. Once i got gear from dungeons i never went back to pve once. Im kitten that in pvp you have 2 options. Do mediocre damage at a cost of dying to pretty much any1 that spots you; or do no damage at all (not kidding) but be very hard to kill.
Agreed dodging is great for kiting, but when there’s too many mobs.. We kite so much that they reset.

Staff is just as weak as having a focus.
Exactly. Arena net has been so focused on making elements list a jack of all trades.. Aka diversified, they need to make focus more relevant… Personally I wouldn’t be made if this combination was strong support role.
Elementalist is hard to balance. I bet a fraction in any direction makes me over powered or over kittened… Eventually they’ll get the math right.
Pretty much what Bond said, if you looking to farm go traveler, however my warrior farms a bit better than my Ele; something to think about if your going to roll another class in the future.
I have full carrion, the bleeds from earth and burns from fire do a good amount a damage. Pretty good for Wv3 if you go a high crit/condition build with a bunch of conditions on crits also.

2 factors to consider
1 make the speed boost freeze while in combat, dungeons, etc. Make it something usable for exploration.
2 there is not monthly fee so theoretically no time sync issues.
So you get level 80 and have 45% completion.
There should be a consumable item that gives speed boost for PvE only.
Yah I always thought it was fishy to conjure a weapon… So I never even spent points on it
Smooth till 65? I thought so as well when lvling and dying to npcs thinking its normal for all classes… boy was i wrong.
I mostly lvled in lower zones with gear (masterwork) up to date every 5 lvls. Could take on lower lvl mobs 1-2 at a time, more if i used elite the one and only earth golem.
Than i talked to some rl friends… kittens lvling in zones 2-3 lvls higher taking 3+ mobs at a time just to make it interesting.And dont get me wrong.. i LOVE the playstyle of ele’s… just stuff is way off when it comes to balance.
I agreed you hit e. and kite for 2 minutes…. And don’t kite into another mobs area if so death….

I managed to get my tailoring and artificer to 400. Still just 71 but thinking ahead to craft my first exotic lev 80 set.
What do you all think is the way to go?

Sup y’all first time posting here. Wanted to chime in on leveling. It seems like the zones 65-80 are a lot harder to solo with elemental it’s for grinding. 1-65 was smooth sailing. However when I hit 65 it got really tough… So I went back to areas I hadn’t been to but the leveling there got very slow..
Did anyone else have this problem?
I probably need to learn chains / combos better but, I use fire build maxed with the rest in arcane. I switch between 2 daggers and a staff, pretty much just cuz I like to get a feel for both builds..
Anyone else run into this issue?
