Hmm, I thought this was the support. The in-game petition system didn’t seem to handle issues like mine, but more technical issues. Maybe I missed an option in the in-game support system that would cover my question?
I wonder why there’s no refund option in the gem store, if one purchases an item and immediately regrets it. I bought the Mad Scientist’s Mining Tool, but I don’t like it at all, so I purchased another one instead.
I will never be using the Mad Scientist tool, so it’s basically just 1000 gems in the shape of a mining tool sitting in my bank. Even a 50% refund for items returned within 48 hours would be perfectly fine.
Also, when talking gem refunds, it would be nice if the gems spent on bag upgrades were refunded, at least partially, when deleting a character that has a number of extra bag slots unlocked. It’s quite a few gems to get 7 extra slots.
Is it just a 100% “No”, and if so, how come?
I highly doubt they would ever increase the cost to use the Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic nor would they ever make it function like a black salvage kit.
A better suggestion would be to make an infinite use Salvage-o-Matic that functions like a black lion salvage kit.
I don’t really understand your argument here.
Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for the pancakes
I’ve been poking around the announcements and forums, but haven’t been able to figure out when exactly today’s patch is supposed to go live. It just says “September 9”, but no time of day.
Can anybody help me out? And for future reference, do the patches always get applied at the same time of day, or is there somewhere I can find information about this?
Thanks in advance.
ANet is mostly worried if you’re trying to squeeze an inch in on them.
I noticed the 7-day timer on the Bone Pick when browsing the BLTC. So it wasn’t forgotten.
Elthurien, didn’t Rogues/Thieves use 1d6 for hit points? The only class to use 1d4 was Mage.
I love player driven economies. They illustrate in just a few weeks the problems that real-world financial crises still struggle with.
“Oh, but my friend is buying eggs by the hundreds. He’s going to make a fortune. I need to stock up as well”.
So, come Christmas, we’ll have the market flooded with eggs. Everybody has eggs to sell, and nobody needs to buy.
Well, at least we won’t starve. Eggnog anyone?
I’m pretty sure I know why there is a limit of 7 bank tabs. From a financial perspective, if you offer an unlimited number of bank tab upgrades, a person will never be “done” with the upgrades. MMO gamers are quite often people who go for 100% completion, whether it is in achievements, gear or any other aspect of the game. If there is a 7 bank tab limit purchase, then people will buy them to tick off that one on the to-do list. If there were 100 tabs, the cost would be too high, and people would most likely not go for it. Around 7 tabs seems to be a sensible number, which many people (I imagine) would not have a problem upgrading.
Then later on, once 50% of all people have the 7 or 8 tabs, you can patch an additional 2-4 available tabs. People who already have the maximum will “have” to get the additional tabs to continue having their stash maxed out. Maybe they wouldn’t have purchased 12 tabs to begin with, but now that they already have 7 or 8, what difference does a couple of extra tabs do in the wallet.
And then it continues. :-)
And the horrible part is having to do story mode twice?
First world problem ^^
The Candy Corn Cartel has spoken!
Good point about the transmuting, Florence. Still need to get used to that.
Could you enlighten me as to what the grand benefit of The Dreamer is opposed to The Lover of Rage? I understand that for end-game gear in GW2, items are more or less identical with only cosmetic differences. However, I did expect the Legendary weapons to at least be slightly better, maybe 5 or 10%. With the Precision and Crit Damage on The Lover replaced with Toughness and Vitality on The Dreamer, it seems to go the exact opposite way in terms of damage.
Am I missing something? Is The Lover a better ShortBow for PvE related content compared to The Dreamer?
