Mhmmm… so is it really like ensign said? I need to buy everything with gold or be playing the game at the time that the skin came out? And If I neither have the gold nor the time at that EXACT time, I can just forget the skin because there is no reliable way of getting tickets? (besides key farming)

I understand that I might be exaggerating a bit, but I am still a bit confused what the reasoning is for such low rates of these tickets. The only thing that comes to my mind, is that they don’t want to reward key farmers. When was the last time you got the key from a normal mob in PvE or PvP? Exactly! Is there another way of getting keys that I forgot?

But yeah I learned my lesson, don’t buy keys… but Herr der Friedhöfe, even if it is RNG a company that makes money from gem purchases should maybe think of adjusting the RNG. Just my personal opinion though.

Maybe I was hoping for more, but not expecting! My question was, if it is normal to not get anything in 25 chests? And if yes, is it due to the fact that Arena net can’t oversaturate the market with things they would normally sell, because there are so many key farmer?

Is it so weird to see a connection between the two?

I thought that buying 25 keys for chests would give me at least one black lion ticket… but no… only scraps, boosters and one okay dye. 2 dyes worth 99c and 2s95c. Tybalt backpack and scarlet holo mini.

Did I fall for a trap, is it known that you get nothing good out of the chests? Or did RNG just really kitten me over?

If this is normal, does arena-net punish customers by lowering any good drops form chests because they are aware or key farmer and want to decrease their profit? Would love to hear someone elses opinion and experience?

I am confused by many people in this thread. You are complaining about the necromancer. You appear to strongly dislike the necromancer. Okay….but then you have enough time to write posts in the necromancer forum about how dev’s don’t deserve any thanks because they are doing a bad job? You could do it sooo much better right? Go to the mesmer forum complain there; make them look bad.

You selected few are giving us other necros a bad image. You guys seriously wonder why dev’s don’t like to write in our forums?

Could we get a response from a dev?

Bas, maybe you should post in the sPvP forum to get us one or two more Necro’s for the NA all necro battle.

Final Rest is on TP!!! Someone found it!

I have been running Nem’s build the whole time, and with the patch update this build just got soooo much better. Focus is definately worth having now.

I was wondering do low level Events, which spawn a splendid chest have a chance to drop rares and exotics? I have never even gotten a rare out of them.

I know that in chests from the Wurm or Maw or other low level chests rares can be dropped, but they are “better” than splendid chests. So could someone answer that question?

I had the pleasant surprise to join a Server yesterday where a guild ( I believe Darkhand/ shout out) was having a duelling event!

At first I was confused when I read the chat, but then I saw that a group of 12 People stood in a circle watching two players 1v1! Once one player went down the team rezzed him, and the, what I assume Guild Leader, decided about two new players to step into the “ring”. No points where capped and it was all about the duelling and seeing other classes peform in 1v1.

It was just a fun, respectful and challenging enviroment where you duel someone every 3min or so!
If there could be only one or two servers which could have a system, which randomly let’s two people fight and let the others be in spectator mode I would be the happiest costumer ever… Or just make everyone but 2 people invulnerable and create an arena type map like the graveyard on forrest that already would be awesome.

Classes which are normally considered OP, had a hard time sometimes, since 1v1 is a whole different scenario. And by just watching others duel without being scared of get ambushed I could learn about other classes very well!

tl;dr
Servers which have 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 deathmatch/ duel system with spectator mode.

What do you guys think? Smart or stupid idea? Not priority for spvp?

Ride the Lightning does not drop the orb. Attempting to stealth or being combo’d into stealth does not drop the orb. The stealth just fails, with IMMUNE text.

Wow, seriously? Think about how we could use Nemisis Fear Build to send the Orb Carrier in the other direction for 7 seconds min. ? And we are the best against a bunker ele (which will be the orb carriers), imo…

Why is the necro community so negative?

Many classes have a way way to invun or stealth stomp, does the necro have a similar thing? Am I missing something?

I read plague form should work, but i doesn’t seem to work in plague form for me and I am not willing to just briefly switch into plague for stability…

If anyone could help and give tips I’d be happy…

I am not 100% sure, but is it possible that if an ally is in the way the life blast projectile doesn’t hit the target?

I tried to observe if life blast hits or not in dungeons, but in the heat of battle I was never 100% sure… Seems like it though.

Can someone confirm or disprove it? Hope it is just my connection…

Oh I should say, that the person where the quest starts is a ghost from gw1, and the demagogue is also a ghost which have a conflict since gw1 times… Final Rest, could be linked to laying the conflict to “rest” by killing him. But this is obviously far fetched.

In Aurora’s Remains (Brisban Wildlands) there is a Group-Event to fight the Demagogue, I have never seen anyone actually doing this. For all you lore fans, try to find a connection with gargoyle’s

The only problem is that it is only a splendid chest as a reward, and i don’t know if this is considered a “large” chest.

The whole event is solo-able as a lvl 80, so if you have some time and you want to exclude this event…. go farm it.

I play a Necromancer as a main, and therefore spent a lot of time on the Necromancer forum page. I normally never post there (or anywhere for that matter) because I found everyone is being so negative and in case I would say anything positive about the Necromancer everyone would flame me and tell me that I obviously never Pvp’ed or that I am casual. (I have 2 other 80’s and 7 chars in total). Now people would tell me, well people on the Necromancer forum are so negative because the Minion AI is bugged, this is not representative for the whole forum.

Okay, so then I go on the mesmer forum looking for help on how to get a leveling build. And there I see a thread about how people want to “shelve their mesmer”, so far I have considered the mesmer a very good class. WTF?

Well this might be coincidences right? No! On almost all profession pages they are talking about everything being bad about their class! Even the warriors!

Now someone could argue: “Well mate, people will always complain about their class. It’s normal.”. First of all: NO IT’S NOT. Second, go to the race pages… Sylvari glow not good enough, clipping here, Asura dodge not showing this, etc. O.o

To every Dev, Mod, Designer of GW2: I love the game. It might have some flaws, granted. But I feel like the negativity of this forum does not represent how good this game is, and what it stands for!

I know this is QQ’ing too, but I had to say it…

I didn’t know where to post this… wish I could tell this almost every person on this forum (there are obviously exceptions).
