When set up for AOE Loot on Interact, it doesn’t AOE..it just works like normal. Is this happening to anyone else? For me to AOE Loot I would have to bind a key to aoe loot and then press that key.
I know most people know the ash legion stealth kit, and fire elemental pet, and so forth. However I would like get the community to help build a list of items people have found that are not well known yet. An example is the flame thrower, not to be confused with Jezza’s flame thrower consumable. This flame thrower when equipped is exactly like the engineer’s flame thrower kit which makes it better than Jezzas. Sadly though I forgot where I found it.
This is why I would like to make an easy list of things found and where.
I have seen though that even if you are out of combat, if anyone is in combat you still only rez at in combat rate.
I rebound my F1-F4 keys to 1-4 and on any of my characters(ranger, ele, engineer) when I press “3” (default F3) it also starts the auto attack sequence. It is 100% reproducible and 100% annoying, Especially on my ranger where I want to recall my pet to keep from engaging in combat, only for myself to start attacking. I don’t see this anywhere in the forums. Am I the only one having this issue?
My characters hair is not showing up correctly. I have posted this before, and it has been broken since launch. When picking my character and in cutsceens the hair looks fine, everywhere else it is just black instead of red black.
Should I just put in a ticket with support for a hair kit so I can dye it the same color as it already is to see if that will work?
I have seen this on my ele and my ranger. It was most obvious on my ranger because why would recalling your pet from attacking …cause you to attack…
Of course its a great Idea any company that wants the best out of their product should have a test server. Unless the company has a large enough testing force.. but obviously Anet is falling short a bit. Not every piece of material needs to be a surprise to where all players experience the material at the same time. Because it better work by then. Otherwise you have everyone gripe at the same time. CCP does well with their patches and they allow any player wanting to help do so.
Got stuck after getting POI “Spentlung Depth” then swimming up where there is a small hole…. its so small you get stuck and almost die cause things attack you.
In Fireheart Rise the Iron Legion are shelling Sloven Pitch with mortars. All the damage they do hurts players and not the enemy mobs? I’m not sure if this is planed by Anet. But… Iron legion is killing their own NPCs.
The (F3) recall pet start the auto attacking cycle, which makes no sense when the (F2) pet attack skill does not start attacking.
That is a valid point, I went to check and you are correct. I must of missclicked the gem i chose when starting, thinking i chose a different gem.
…now i feel sooo stupid…

I have jewel crafting at level 323 and Chrysocola Crystal is available at level 300.
I can use Chrysocola to make a necklace but not a ring nor earring. I looked it up on the wiki and it states it can be made. So I’m wondering it this is just a bug.

I am just wondering why going to the downed state is considered a death even when you are not defeated. Even on the Lifetime Survivor achievement as soon as you go down it is a death and not when you are defeated.

I am glad Anet is trying to put content out the door every month but if it is going to be of this quality … then please don’t.
Could Anet get a bit more specific in their descriptions to help avoid confusion?

When buying trait tombs, let us know that you have to buy them in order.
Master Harvesting Tools: All they say is that they are superior tools and not that they have a limit on what kinda of materials they can harvest. If I get one I never know where I can use it until it fails to harvest something.
I honestly don’t know what Anet is planning but since they introduced mining candy corn for Halloween I though it would be cool if there were candy cane trees for Winterday. Bringing back costume brawls again would be fun. I don’t know what theme they will run because in GW1 it was all human based and now in GW2 the six gods are kinda phased out. But I think it would still be cool to see a Dwayna vs Grenth thing going in the Divinity’s Reach. Just because the other races don’t believe in the six doesn’t mean the humans have to stop tradition.
What would you guys like to see?
I think for space saving if consumables could stack more. Banker golems don’t stack at all and items like salvage kits could use a little help. Yes they stack up to their own cap, but say if I got 2, then why cant I combine that stack. This way you don’t have to waste a whole slot for an almost used up kit.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?: On the Jungle Stalker when set to avoid combat it sometimes forgets and attacks my target.
I have noticed when swimming with my charr that swimming sound is very loud.
When an ghostly treb is being attacked, the attack sound is at 100% no matter the distance.
Side note the “Big Tasty Fish” environmental item at the char water processor does not give any boon when consumed.
For a ranger being mainly a RANGED class, it breaks the mechanic completely to only be point blank range.
Displaying Distance in HUD
If there was an option or key bind (similar to the alt and ctrl defaults) that when activated displayed object/enemy/ally distance from yourself. This way the numbers on the skills that tell you the range of an attack/ability actually mean something. Also so you can do an ability and not just wonder if it is too far or not.
I just want to post the hair color issue I have. In character select and cut-sceens my hair is an obvious red-black as seen bellow, but in game and in the hero panel you can barley tell any red is there at all.
I just have a few annoying points of the elementalist skills could benefit from.
It may be a bug but sometimes when I’m attuning to air or using windborne speed I just start auto attacking whatever is right in front of me. It is really annoying when I’m just trying to run past mobs.
On Glyph of Renewal can it rez the target I have selected (if I have one selected) for fire, water, air? I was in a dungeon once and I used it to try and rez an ally player but it rezed a useless npc instead.
Believe it or not but my character actually has red-black hair. It shows up correctly in cutsceens but in game and in character select it only shows black hair.
