in my adventures accross Tyria i stumbled on a small yer rather annoying bugg. After completing “Seeds of Truth” and starting on “Point of No Return” I’m suppose to get mail from Marjory regarding the Symbol… yet i haven’t. I’ve tried relogging, changing maps, quiting and requeueing the episode, switching character, exiting the game, even restarting my computer and I still haven’t received the bloody letter!
kitten Marjory! Stop lollygagging!
Please do help this poor adventurer on his mission to defeat Mordremoth.

if this content wasn’t time gated for 2 weeks then you would have some ground to stand on for your snobbery because you can get lucky or you run the elitist zerk build to just nuke her down.
but it is, and whats the point of designing content that not everybody can do and is poorly tested? its just a waste of time and money, wow only 5 out of 100 people could do it. this totally wasn’t a waste of time to make. well now since at least 5 did it everybody else can do it in 2 weeks. fullproof logic

So did you get one shot by the first boss? because if so then yes that is intentional. If you could stand in one place kitten ing on the bosses that wouldn’t be any sort of challenge, the one shot mechanics or mechanics in general are there to test your skill at moving while still being able to do the dmg and survive.

Looking up a guide beforehand helps tremendously if you’re not the very first person going in and testing the mechincs to write a guide.

I was not standing still, i wasn’t even near the bosses, but they still 1 shoot you. The point is, this should not be in any frigging game. 1 shot mechanic is lame imo. I’m a staff necro and every skill is a mark you have to place on the ground and basically stand still to place them, but i guess like some have said in other threads, im supposed to start changing build and my gear just for this fight? no thank you. i shouldn’t have to. this was supposed to be fun and i was actually looking forward this update, but ah well forget it.

I’m sorry to break it down to you but you ARE suppose to change your build accordingly, even the devs said so. And you know there’s this “dodge” mechanic that can really help you out. There are also few guides on the forums that i suggest you go and take a look, now stop whinning and learn the bosses mechanics.

If they made a Martial Arts Class, they would never re-use the Monk name. Also a barehanded fighting style is more likely as a weapon addition for all classes, rather than the foundation of a totally new class.

You do know that Monks are impossible because Anet will not introduce a purely support class and the parts of the Monk that they do wanted to introduce ended up with the Guardian right?

Dervishes are too closely linked to the human gods and in terms of gameplay are actually quite similar to Guardians (even though Guardians wear heavy armor and don’t wield scythes).

Ritualists are Engineers with a Necromancy-like vibe while the Paragon’s skills and gameplay ended up getting divided between Guardians and Warriors.

I’m more than fine with the current professions (in fact I think they cover most if not all archetypes), as long as their options of weapon types and utility/healing/elite skills get expanded.

- Casual players of the game itself, will probably in major part vote in Kiel. (Good person, WP reduced, and also a good fractal for a real Gw2 lore)
- Actually, 75% of players in game don’t uses foruns, so, its obviously that the number of Kiel likers in foruns are lesser. They are more happy playing the game, and not complaining about ever all contentes released.

How would you know, how Abaddon was exiled, it’s not like we’ve seen it before, all we know is that the other 5 gods outcasted him. And if you’re thinking about how Abaddon was defetead in Nightfall, well the Fall of Abaddon is 1000 years earlier.

Recently i’ve watched Dontains video on Heavy Arms Build, and there was this conversation between these two guys stating that you can’t post GW2 videos on Youtube and if you do, it will be taken down.

Here are some comments on it:
“I heard you weren’t allowed to upload Guild Wars 2 videos on YouTube. Is that true?”

“you are not allowed but he is partnered so he still gets money of these but if you are not and you monetize GW2 vids they will be taken down”

Now i wonder if that is true since i just recently wanted to make a youtube account, dedicated to making GW2 content videos. I do hope i am mistaken.
