I have social anxiety but on games I’m the absolute opposite. Joining a friendly guild is pretty important.

Still no portal for me. I’ve only done maybe 6 rounds of VW though.

There are programs that allow you to use a second mouse and keyboard, I’ve already figured that out. But I guess there’s no easy way to run the client twice.

Edit: Ah, looking into MultiWars 2, looks promising.

I’d rather not have to bother with a virtual machine if possible. My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and he’s going to visit me in a few months. We both have desktops so he can’t bring his computer. Is there a way I could get the client to start up twice so I could use two monitors/keyboards/mice and we could login to our own accounts so that we could play while he’s here?

The heart quest with the redcaps, the mushrooms that used to make you shrink/grow? Do they no longer make you grow? It seems like the quest was changed, but I can’t really find any solid information about it anywhere.

I love warhorns, but 98% of them are extremely bulky. I want to go for an elegant look. The Hunt is a perfect size, but the color is so plain. Any chance we’ll be seeing some more elegant ones?

I am having a lot of trouble too, and I’ve been at it for hours now. He catches me almost every other time I bluff, and use spams his darn move so that I can’t bluff.

They already shorted norn from the betas and it made me really angry. In GW1 they were even bigger than they had been in the betas! If the ended up shortening them again, I’d honestly probably quit, or at least stop playing as often I do.

You can’t look at the game from a purely gameplay perspective, because that’s not the entire perspective. Racial height adds novelty and variation to the game. They are supposed to be big; you simply cannot say that is not a valid argument.

I don’t understand why you’re so upset because you’re -assuming- that players playing norn or charr judge you for being smaller. ??

I have been sitting with him for over an hour now and most of the time I couldn’t even get his health below 50%. Surely this isn’t how ANet envisioned this??

Only on one of my characters. When I gather something, sometimes I can sell it, but sometimes it does not show up to a vendor or on the TP at all. It happens with loot too, I have an armor piece that I cannot do anything with, and it is not soulbound or accountbound. I’ve tried relogging. Is this a known bug, or is it just me?

My build was focused around black jaguar. Is there ANY build now with decent damage?

That wouldn’t be fair to rangers; pets are a significant part of the game and integrated into how rangers play, a norn ranger against a norn warrior would be at a loss.

It wouldn’t be fair to other races. PvE balance is important, just like PvP balance.

The UI would be clogged up; there would have to be a pet window AND the classes’ normal class-specific window.

In my personal story, whenever I’m doing a quest, I can usually hear the first cutscene that plays, but any other cutscenes throughout the story are silent. The character’s lips move, but I can’t hear any audio of their speaking. I can hear music in the background though. It never did this on my first character.

At first I thought it was a problem with my headset, a Logitech G35, but I’ve noticed that when I’m in a friend’s personal story, their story’s dialogue does it in cutscenes too; I ask them. I also ask them if it has happened before, and they say no.

Am I causing it for them? What is going on? :s

Most of the time I hear no audio during cutscenes, though a random few have been an exception. Some of my friends say it happens to them too, but I was with them during the cutscenes, so could I have an affect on it if I am just bugged? Or are other people getting this too? It happens a lot and is really annoying…

I have a norn ranger and a norn thief.

I think the Norn shapeshift forms definitely need to be looked at again…

Do you have any idea how expensive it would be to record multiple voices for a game that has constant VA use, especially when there are 5 races with male/female each??

Yes, the software is set up correctly. It’s a known issue for some of Logitech’s gaming headsets to behave like this, but there have been some fixes for some people and maybe one suggested here will work for me.

I know this has been asked before, but I’m not seeing a solution that works for me. The headset just recently started acting up. It started by favoring the right ear in dialogue, then stopped dialogue in cutscenes altogether. I tried disabling back and rear side as a suggestion from someone and it worked for a few minutes, but now about half of the dialogue I hear, even out of cutscenes, is silent. Any ideas?

I went with my friend, who is a sylvari, to one of his quests that required a disguise. I was a norn, and another one of our friends was a Charr. We were disguised as the nightmare court or something. Pretty funny.

I’m a female and I don’t really like the Legendary shortbow. I do, however, like the longbow. It’s not really “girly” looking, IMO; it looks like a plant. Are sylvari “girly?”

Bugged for me… At “Escort the Researchers to the Southern Exit with Trahearne” Trahearne follows me but the other NPCs don’t. I’ve tried this multiple times now. None of the NPCs died at all. Nothing is triggering in the quest.

I would love a griffon, or, the more possible, a warg. A big black warg like what Eir has, or at least, a normal solid black wolf.

Garm (Eir’s pet) is not a warg. He’s a dire wolf.
