Thank you for keeping us updated. I agree with others as this being a fair solution. If the Devs are unable to fix the root cause of these bugs (since this apparently happened last season too), here’s a solution I think would work and make everyone happy.
1. Delete all current Reward Tickets in-game and Chests (if players haven’t opened them yet).
2. Create a new Chest with ‘new’ Tickets (different ID #), and update the Merchant NPC with those new Ticket ID’s.
3a. Distribute this new Chest via mail to those who have the ‘Mist Runner’ title/achievement with the correct number of tickets based on their server.
- IE: Manually/Batch deliver them server by server for those who have the title.
or
3b. Code the Merchant NPC to check our accounts for the ‘Mist Runner’ title/achievement upon talking to it and deliver the new Chest as a reward (like the new Heart quest reward system that pops up when completed).
-IE: Each server will have a modified Merchant NPC to give out Chests with the server’s correct amount of tickets.
This should make players happy as we’ll get our hard earned rewards (in a timely manner) and gives the Devs time to fix the core problem of these bugs for next season onward.

I’m on Gate of Madness and no chest/reward for me either.
Also completed 10/10 WvW Spring Tournament 2014 and WvW achievement correctly shows we came in first place.
Tried relogging multiple times and going into WvW and Home Instances as suggested by other people, but still nothing.
So awhile back I bought some Wizard’s Hats, which were free in the Gem Store. I had them in my mailbox but never took the item.
Today I login and my mail was red and showing 14/10 – so I look at it. I reported a gold seller, deleted their mail (only thing I deleted) and closed the Mail window. When I went back to check the mail, all of the Gem Store delivery mails containing the Wizard’s Hat were gone. I even still had some of the Baseball Caps from launch in my mail, but all newer delivered mail was missing.
I’ve tried relogging, checking my other character’s mailboxes, and deleted all mail so it shows 0/10, but even the backlog of purchased Wizard’s Hats aren’t appearing either (got 1 for each of my characters).
I’m thinking that when I deleted that gold seller’s mail, it somehow also deleted everything that was above it as well – including the backlog. Either that or there’s an auto-delete system for mail I don’t know about?
Been having this problem specifically since the last patch or the one before it (maybe Thursday?). Did human personal story, everything worked fine, then patch that broke it, other character doing the exact same personal story – now no audio for certain characters.
For the past week or so, it seems like the scaled loot drops have been significantly reduced. Not sure if it’s a bug or intentional.
I’m from the US and play on Gate of Madness.
I’ve never gotten this error while playing in the BWEs or stress tests. A few days after the 3 day headstart, I would constantly get them.
Originally adding “/clientport 80” fixed the problem, but now I am getting error 7 again.
Also wanted to note that I am always getting error 7 while in the main server for PvE or WvW. To my knowledge, I have never gotten error 7 while in the “overflow” server.
This is still happening – minion AI is bugged. Flesh Golem and Shadow Fiend just stand there and do not attack.
If I initiate the attack, both my minions will just completely stop and stand there. Even if I bring the enemy in close range to them, they continue to do absolutely nothing. Same thing if I use their special skills; they’ll use them on what I have targeted, then do nothing again.
Now if I do not initiate the attack, and let my minions in range of the enemy first, they’ll attack as normal.
I had this problem in the BWE’s. My firewall actually had a popup asking for connection to the Trading Post, which at first I didn’t see – it would just ‘hang’ there loading as you describe because it’s waiting for a response.
If there’s no popup, check your firewall settings. Maybe it was accidentally denied/blocked.
