EOTM is designed for guild groups to farm Ultimate Dominator titles off of upleveled karma trains so stupid that 90% of the mindless zombies in the 50 man blobs will CONTINUE SPAMMING 1 AT THE DOOR as they get slaughtered by a guild group a quarter of their size.
I look forward to bringing a settler’s shoutheals sword/warhorn + greatsword warrior with melandru runes, dogged march, cleansing ire and mobile strikes to capture the flag. I can’t imagine anything more fun than that.
I enjoy facerolling on my new hambow… er excuse me, d/d ele.
(seriously though, its nice to have an ele build that a warrior can’t roflstomp just by smashing his face into his keyboard)
Diamond skin is a terrible trait, all you have to do is knock their health down like 2k and they will have no active condi clears…. aka screwed. If you are really having problems with this just put on a celestial amulet and hit them with a couple life blasts to start the fight. Then your condi spam and fear spam will quickly destroy them with their lack of condi removal and low vitality.
Playing against T1 servers is like playing a zombie apocalypse survival game. Every time you kill a wave, the next has 20 more mindless zombies coming for you.
Won’t truly be on the level of T1 until you turn using your keyboard. 3/10

Basically Anet does not want to do it.
First they said they would’t do it, because your characters were supposed to be unique or some BS. Then after 6 months of complaining about it on these forums, they’ve decided to say “OK we’ll do it”, and then never get around to it. Next stage is technical excuses for why it cannot be done…
Its basically like when your boss tells you to do something, you say “I’ll get right on it”, and then you promptly start reading the GW2 forums instead.
Oh and btw, pvp rank is account bound…. so lets not pretend that this code does not already exist in a similar form.

How about instead of introducing more WvW currencies, we make all these new rewards available for badges of honor, and then give a ton of badges as the tournament rewards?
So that, you know, maybe I’ll have something worthwhile to spend my 10k+ useless badges of honor on.
If your GvG guild is looking for an incredibly arrogant, keyboard turning, full-tank no-damage ele who uses his signet heal at full health, pulls out of the fight at the first sign of trouble, can’t single target down a necro at 5% health, thinks that those videos constitute “gameplay to be proud of” (LOL), and spends his off hours trolling GvGs and following big name GvG guilds around like a puppy dog (so he can later claim to be there at their leader’s request), I can think of nobody better than Fioravante to fill that role.

- You kept your team alive,healed and cured
- Perfect CC at the correct time
- You did what was needed to not die, and win the fight.Really,what else can you ask for?
- They came after you 2-4 at a time, and you did not die.Even vs a hammer spam warrior and buddies working as a team.
- You and only you caused the death of three directly that would have got away for sure.
I had no opinion on clicking as you call it, before this. I assumed all used mouse/hotkey. That said, it seems to work for you just fine. Combo fields are fine as they are. Setting water as top priority just means people are going to spam fields more mindlessly than they already do with no downside. No thanks.
I look forward to 80 man zergs spamming air strikes from their inventories. Can’t ask for better pvp content than that!
Every few minutes now in WvW we get a loading screen. Then we are back at spawn. Very annoying. Please fix.

The bolded abilities are most certainly not “worthless”. Do some of them need a buff? Maybe. Have some of them been nerfed way too much? Yes. But worthless???? Come on.
10+ glass meteornado eles and a bunch of glass necros. Spam your meteors, static fields, chills, wells, etc. Scatter everywhere and avoid the melee train like a bullfighter. If they stop in a meteornado, people die. If they don’t all double dodge through the meteornado they die. If their squishes get hit with a single shot from your meteor shower, they will most likely die. Meanwhile, for their train to maintain cohesiveness, they have to chase down your casters a few at a time. Unless their group is perfectly on point, you can bring them down.
This is one of VR’s favorite strategies btw, so if you get matched up against Maguuma expect to see this.

Dislikes:
1) Bugs that should have been fixed a long time ago (can’t kick from party, exploits into towers, gentle slopes nearly killing you from fall damage, etc)
2) Arrow Carts and people who want to turtle in towers/build open field siege with their 40+ zerg instead of fighting our 20 open field
3) Zerg-favoring mechanics: retal, immob spam, cc spam
Yah it’s been a fun week. We’ve had a GvG with Basic[BS] Monday and we have one with [PYRO] tonight. That has to bring this matchup’s count to at least 8.
Yup, missed my guild reset raid thanks to this.
My tpvp match finished 20 minutes ago. I cannot leave. The “Exit to HOTM” button does results in a loading screen, then puts me back in the tournament. Switching characters results in the character i log in on being in the match. Alt+F4ing and relogging does not get me out.
Everything but the incinerator matches my description. 2 ascended daggers. I usually duel in OS a few times per week.
Yeah I’ve run full boon duration in the past. The reason I switched to the 4 divinity 2 traveler build is because I always felt like with the runes of water and runes of monk you are wasting 2 rune slots that only give you 25 healing each.
I feel like even with 45% boon duration you should still be able to maintain perma-fury if you are using zephyr’s boon and attunement dancing correctly.
As far as might goes, I agree that maintaining at least 10 stacks is important to keep your damage up, but in a 1v1 situation it can be hard to focus on triple blasting fire 4 when you are also trying to apply constant pressure to your opponent and dodge his nastier attacks. Not to mention that mesmers are necros are going to be removing all that hard earned might and your damage will tank hard if you are completely depending on it for damage.
Some of these builds have great stats, but I will ask.. Why is everybody using ascended armor? I can guarantee nobody who is super active has a full set of ascended armor.
Why not use the armor you do have so as to fully represent your current build?
The thread title is “Best Possible Stats”, and you would not have the max possible stats with exotic armor.
I personally do not have any ascended armor currently, since it costs hundreds of gold for a hardly noticeable stat increase, but that means that I do not have the best possible stats, strictly speaking.

Average damage = Base damage * ( 1 + Critical Chance * ( Critical Damage + 0.5) )
We’ll use our power as base damage here assuming that the weapons are ascended and both daggers, so each skill has the same attack coefficient. The way the attacks are calculated is actually: (weapon damage * power) * (skill coefficient) / (target’s armor), which implies that power does directly scale each hit’s damage.
My Average Damage: 2121 * ( 1 + 0.35 * ( 0.64 + 0.5) ) = 2967.279
OP’s Average Damage: 1638 * ( 1 + 0.30 * ( 0.88 + 0.5) ) = 2316.132
Xunleashed’s Average Damage: 1915 * ( 1 + 0.30 * ( 0.80 + 0.5) ) = 2661.85
Survivability: This build beats OP and Xunleashed’s builds in toughness and vitality
In all honesty, I really don’t think celestial is worth it if you are really trying to max out what I consider to be the most important stats -Power, crit damage, toughness, vitality.
Condition damage does almost nothing for you unless you specifically spec your build to be condi based. If you are going for a condi based build you are better off with a mix of rabid and carrion than celestial IMO. But in a straight damage build, your raw damage is going to win fights, not condi damage.
As far as healing, I used to run a build with 600+ healing, now i run with 350. I have not felt a significant difference. I would prefer to have extra toughness and lower healing power to reduce the incoming damage, rather than depend on healing power to restore health.
TL;DR if you want to max survivability and DPS, celestial is not the way to go-exchanges power (very important!) for healing and condi damage (not important)

Protip, the RAM/HOPE group and ATK/GLOB groups both individually had enough to pop orange swords on NPCs. All togehter it had to be close to 55-60~ people. We had 45~ people at our peak in the night, not including NAGA.
protip: you dont need 55-60 people to pop orange swords

Chaba, I really think we SIC need to stop being offended by these CORE guys.
If they think that killing 3 of our 10 man group, with 20+ guys, siege, and a fully active siegerazer is a great accomplishment, it must be because they think we are amazing and that they are in absolute awe of us.
Yes CORE, killing any SIC member is an accomplishment, no matter what the numbers are. So please, continue posting all of the excellent ways you wiped us when you had a massive advantage, because everybody wants to hear about your incredible accomplishments. For bonus points, be sure to post a video of you wiping us with 2x our numbers, pugs, siegerazer, siege, another guild group, and whatever other advantages you can get your hands on, because clearly those are some incredibly glorious moments for you.
Why is it that WvWers constantly ask for things that everybody would be happy with, and what they get is stuff that either divides the community or almost everybody in the community adamantly opposes?
I don’t think you would hear a single complaint if the next WvW patch notes looked something like this (except for the people who would complain that you did not take these solutions far enough):
-Fixed issue where party members who go offline could not be kicked from group
-Fixed glitch in NW tower of borderlands where people attacking the gate in a certain way (won’t post how here) can get inside the tower
-Upgraded and optimized servers to reduce skill lag in large confrontations
-Fixed the queuing issues where a player who just queued can get in with a 5 minute wait while a player who has been waiting for half an hour is still stuck.
-WvW rank chests now drop a guaranteed rare just like world boss chests and the chances of an ascended item or an exotic increase with your WvW rank.
-All ascended crafting mat drops in WvW have been increased so that they can be gathered at the rate PvE players can acquire them
-Enemy players now have a low chance to drop one of the PvE champion chests
-Badges of honor can be traded for basic ascended crafting materials
-Separate GvG arena has been added which can accommodate even teams of 10-25 players. Players will be allowed to use consumables and PvE gear sets. Some sort of round system has been set up. Teams may GvG unofficially, or compete in paid, ranked GvGs in which each guild will be ranked on a leaderboard similar to the ones used by tPvP players. Spectator mode will be allowed. Stacks will be cleared between rounds.
If you were to take WvW in a direction like this, instead of deploying updates that will drive people away, like we fear that the coming orbaggeddon will, you might see a fewer threads constantly complaining about these issues and more players thanking you for giving the WvW community things that it actually wants.
I apologize if this has already been suggested, since I did not bother reading the 18 page ArrowCart QQ thread.
Basically, my suggestion is that the ACs be restored to pre-patch levels, and the outmanned buff can give defenders a bonus damage percent to ACs and other siege. This means that servers which are severely outnumbered during certain times of the day can still stall big zergballs, but without making it incredibly difficult to take an objective during primetime. This will give servers which have a weak timezone an incentive to build and refresh siege, so that the few players that they have on will have a fighting chance.
So I am writing this about an hour after the patch.
I purchased an invader’s accessory (earpiece). I tried to apply an exquisite sapphire jewel to the unused upgrade slot and could not, which seemed strange since I had one of these jewels on my other invaders accessory. I then tried to apply a normal sapphire orb to the unused upgrade slot and that did not work either.
