I just lost a game and lost 2 points in league??

How did this happen? Is there ever a possibility of getting 2 points for a win?

EDIT: I just checked Helseth’s stream, can’t believe he lost 2 points for winning. What a $#@%ing joke.

I d/c and came back before having a hard d/c and being unable to return until the end of the PvP match during ranked.

In my game history it says ‘desertion’ and I was dishonored for 20mins. Since then, its been one blown out game after another. Am i being punished?

It wouldn’t be so upsetting if Anet’s client didn’t randomly crash or we hadn’t been getting these high latency pings during ocx recently.

I guess I could just not play PvP -.-

Sorry if this post is vague…

Intermittently I hear this reoccurring background noise. I don’t know why it happens, it doesn’t seem connected to the environment or activities I’m doing at that time. It happens on different PC’s at different times.

The sound is hard to describe, its like a pebble dropping onto a stone, a kachink sound. Its not so much a problem but it just seems SO out of context to everything I do and is just annoying I guess.

Does anyone have any idea what I’m talking about, or am I just hearing things <.<

Perhaps if I knew where it was coming from it wouldn’t be so annoying.

I remember reading something about how you could get the achievement by equipping the twilight/sunrise(?) then use them to make eternity and be able to sell it, or at least something to this effect.

Is this possible? I don’t recall the exact details that were mentioned at the time. If someone could enlighten me that would be appreciated.

Additionally is there a ‘cheap’ or ‘efficient’ way to get the achievement?

I’m hoping people can help me to understand how this new system will work and what it means for some of my current (soon to be old items).

I have Tomes/Scrolls of Knowledge saved up. Should I use these now or is it better to save them?

I also see some people saying you should get into PvE and complete all the skill point challenges you can before the update. Why is this, what happens if I wait?

I guess the main question I’m asking is should I be more proactive before the arrival of Hero points. As in, will I have regrets if I haven’t followed up on some of these things or will the new system not change it that much?

Perhaps someone can link a good article that explains it well.

Hi, new WvW player here.

I wanted to ask about WvW settings to run in WvW. I don’t have a high performance system so can’t run everything at max settings.

I want to run settings that allow me to see enemies at distance in zerg fights while reducing animations and any ‘flashy’ effects that might impact on performance during these fights.

If you have an average system what settings to you reduce?

If you’re talking about the Forums specialist role, then yes. It looks like a watered down version of a CDI.
