Count me in. 100% Tyria on main character. No message/chest after completing Verdant Brink.
Since the HoT launch, I could hardly play an hour without crashing. No matter, if I do stuff or just stand around or change map – happened there quite a few times, too.
I turned everything way down, cause it mostly happens with a lot of people around. But still, the crashes come.
Today, it was a bit better and I did not crash as often. But then again… settings were all the way down – which looks horrible and I wouldn’t want to play like that… at all. And still the crash comes occasionally.
Hello team,
never had these issues with my current system. Logged on today, small patch loaded, loaded game, screenfreeze right after loading map. After several tries, I had 6 CTDs within 20 minutes. Either after a few minutes of playing or right after map was loaded with freezing screen.
Here are some Crash Details:

I don’t really get, why people are so obsessed with rifles for Thieves. It’s like everybody follows the rule how Snipers are the “coolest thing” in any FPS.
We are in a Fantasy World, not on Battlefield. We are Thieves. We are stealthy, sneaky, we love the shinies!
Anything else but a torch as a first next weapon would seem very odd to me. I was actually surprised in Beta, when I realized, it wasn’t one of our standard weapons.
And you could do a lot with it.
Let anybody else be marksman. Get in there.
Rifle, fine. But… Torch!
I would not believe there is any other weapon actually fitting a Thieve better than a torch to be honest! I mean… we are Thieves! That means roaming around in dark places, searching caves and ruines for treasures, okay, maybe accidentally setting a house on fire while robbing it, playing tricks on people, blinding, hurting, illuminating, setting traps… Though I run around with my shortbow like 70% of the time, we still are a breed who tend to get close to whatever is we are interested in.
I find it so obvious, that I was actually very surprised, that it wasn’t one of our standard weapons right at the launch of the game.
And I am sure, there would be a whole lot of possible skills for a nice, cosy torch.
