I just got the game on April sales and saw ppl with legendary. After I lvl my 1st guardian to 80, I brought 4,000 gem with RW money and spend all the gold buying exotic GS from the TP. Got the Dawn on the 2nd try, but i want Twilight so I throw the rest GS into the toilet and nothing good came out. A week later, i had like 18g in an inventory so I purchase 4 exotic GS from TP, got Dusk on 1st try!! So, i sold Dawn for T6 matts and got the Twilight in the end. After that i waste like 600-700g in the toilet, nothing until now.

Hi, I just create my 1st non-human toon (Norn) and notice something different in camera angle. When I zoom all the way in as human toon, the character block all the view. But the camera seems to positioned a bit higher for the Norn and cut some part of his legs off the screen which I prefer more (more view). I’m bad in English so you can look at the attached screenshot for the comparison. (Both are max zoom)

Do I miss something in the option or it just the game make it that way?

ok i tried something else and i can now buy gems but from my wifes computer. I think the problem is within our gw2 client. i know its a risk to uninstall the game and install it again cos it takes time but if ur willing to try it and it works for u pls leave a comment so others can do it. ty

Did you re-download the whole game or backup gw2.dat and copy to your wife computer?

May be after all the nerfs this’s the tactic NCSoft trying to push ppl to Wildstar. XD

The paypal method now works for me, seems to be fixed. I posted yesterday about it not continuing to work even after the update, but just tried and was successful.

I just tried after i saw your post and still on going issue for me.

Same problem here.

I tried to report this problem to the support team a couple days ago and they told me the problem is on Paypal end that my purchase attempts “was declined by PayPal”. I’m pretty sure that I have enough fund in the Paypal account to purchase a $20 worth of gems.

However, I’m still pretty sure that the problem is on the game side. Because it didn’t redirect me to Paypal page at all, not that I’ve an error after the transaction is made. The button “Proceed to Paypal” just disappeared and nothing happened.

I’ll try contact Paypal for more information regards this problem and will update again.

Ps. Sorry for my bad english.

I had this same issue for the past 4 days or so. Went down the entire checklist and nothing worked. However I did recall that my DNS was changed to the google public DNS a while back due to some connection issues. Now it would appear that the Google DNS is causing a problem. I removed it, and I was able to access again.

Check your DNS to make sure it’s set to auto or to a local one. It may help you as it did with me.

Today I can logged in from my office with no problem, both use the same ISP though. So I guess that my problem is from network setting at home. (Wierd thing is everything was fine yesterday and i didn’t touch any network setting)

Can anyone suggests any solution? I also attach test result from NCSoft’s GameAdvisor.

Tried this method last night, still no luck.

I can logged in this morning (+7GMT) also. I came home from my office and found out that my brother also has the same problem. But as i mentioned above i tried to connect with my cellphone’s internet connection and it can log in. Super wierd! XD

As the topic said, but the strange thing is there’s no problem if i tried to connect with my shared internet connection from my phone. Please advise.
