A fixed cap of 5 players with a full map will lead to small groups just for the extra reward. Not necessarily bad, but scaling according to the current player base on the map will help preventing this problem and allow night players to gain this bonus too.

WvW Siege Data

Hi,

does someone have the data for siege/walls/gates (health, armor, damage)? Last time i tried to figure these things out, the SM T0 Gate and tower T0 Gate had different health pools.

@Dev: Maybe it is possible to publish these things?

Okay that something need to change is obvious and i like this idea, but what if we do it the other way around.

For me one Question is: Do we want an equal population on every server? Or have X server with high pop, Y server with medium pop and Z server with low pop (so everyone has a matchup size he likes).

Then: Why not just close/clear every server and open only so many servers, that this goal is reached. I mean you have some approximation of the player base. And when the max cap of the server is reached, it will just switch to “full” on a hardcap. So one server has 120% is not possible, because 100% switches to full (for different matchup sizes, the cap is different and is shown on world transfer).

I don’t think any of this will help, because the identity of linked worlds is with permanent switching guilds and multiple TS3 servers non existent.

To improve the identity ingame will not change the mentality of the people outside (on TS3 and transfer behaviour)

As the titles says, i would like to see someone to bring together and reflect the chaos of feedback and criticism (most of it just plain hate). Maybe start polls to and then objectively show arenanet the ideas and wishes of the community.

I can live with wvw getting less love, than the other game modes, but the attention is there, only it feels not in union with the community. Sure there are polls, but who knows the significance in terms of numbers of participants, participants are wvw/pve/pvp/raid players …

So for me a person needs to be the interface between the community and the developers, since they cant grasp everything.

(Please no hate discussion, only constructive feedback)

Is there on any server a hardcore siege/ppt wvw guild?

Perfect timing with siege/ Build Groups (instant building of blueprints simultaneously) Everyone has Traps / Shield generators + Treb against T3 object.

Stuff like that

Not just “attacking” objects, but a professional siege.

Walls/Gate Differenthealth?

The wiki notes, that gates and walls have different health and damage reduction for towers and keeps. Is this true? Because i got the same damage numbers and reached the same % on T3 walls from towers and keeps.

There is an option to turn off other player names, but only with enemy name tags too.

Hi,

It would be great if the commander tag can not be hidden through players or animations. I mean, if we have an Squad with 50 people, the names block everything. (In WvW names are needed to determine friend from foe, so turn off is not an option).

Also if the height of the tag ist not different for each race/size of the char, that would be great.

Or is someone against a visible tag?

Hi,

the toolbelt skill of elexier b is a great way to gain stability for the engi, but in WvW no one will accept it, because the guardian stability is simply better (higher range, slightly higher uptime with triple stability, no throwing). I can understand, that this is the advantage of the guardian, but the two guards per group meta is really counterproductive to the “every class can do everything”-idea of GW2 (tank, heal,dps and so on).

I do not want to change the mechanic of elexier b, i have no problems to target my team, but rather increase the max. number of targets. If it would hit something like 10 players, it would be a great skill for wvw, but not so high, that guardians stability is weaker.

For pvp the higher cap is nearly useless (5 player per team and stability on pets is not really something op).

Hi,

is it possible to adjust the height of the commander tag&markers? In WvW with the “blue-everywhere”-Squad it is impossible to see the tags. It would be great if the tag is ABOVE the zerg and and can not be hidden through players or animations. 50 names can easily hide all tags&markers no matter the race.

I know this is a repost from me, but no developer responded and i find this issue very important for the current WvW community with large zergs.

I do not like the way that 2 stacks of stability can give you enough time to push every CC.

It is now impossible to stop the enemy zerg. Even the wall of the shield generator is useless.

A way to really have the ability to stop an enemy zerg at will (not with skills, too op, but maybe with shield generator) would be nice. They way it is now, they can simply get stunned and then move freely through every CC right into you.

The Skill “Hammer Bolt” can pierce through walls and gates in WvW. You can stand inside a tower and get killed from these hammers. Is this a bug?

Okay since 3-4 days i have in WvW, PvE and PvP skill delay with 1-4s. BUT i can move in realtime (verified throught TS3) and can see everything else in realtime. This never happened before and i only had minor lagg problems in the prime time.

the Skill Dragon’s Tooth from the Ele can destroy targets that he should not be able to reach. Behind Walls / Inside Buildings. This should not work <.<

What about Dragon’s Tooth? That ability ignores line of sight, people use it to eliminate all siege inside using zoom hacks, and people have been doing this for years.

Please fix this too
