Ok so the general consensus is that it’s not godawful, just meh?

I’m running the Staff+Scepter/Focus. More than likely I’m keeping the Staff because it feels really good, but I’m on the fence about whether to use Dagger or Scepter. Not using Warhorn because confusion and no damage isn’t very great for PvE. I could go axe, but it kinda feels boring.

I picked Scepter because Bleed+Poison+Initial Scepter Damage+3 minions is alot of damage sources ticking away at one enemy, so it’s very taxing on say; a boss’ health.
So what’s the smarter Choice
Dagger or Scepter?

So I’m new to the game, I’ve got 4 level 10-15s (i’m an altaholic sue me) and I’ve got a level 12 Necromancer that I’m currently playing with.

I went minions just for the Novelty of having a small army following me all the time. Then I research and find that Minions are generally regarded as subpar at best.

My Utilities are currently Bone Fiend and Shadow Fiend, with my Heal being Blood fiend.
Is it viable to keep going with minions? Or should i get the kitten outta there quickly? I’m really hellbent on going minions but if it’s overwhelmingly terrible I may have to switch.

If you say no; Can i get some utilities to make my Necro “good”?
If yes; Could my build be any better utility wise?

Keep in mind I never intend to touch WvW or PvP. Strictly PvE content.

Watched the Ash Legion cinematic.

It’s on par with how amazing the Iron Legion cinematic was. Wasn’t disappointed.

So I was thinking about what class I’d like to work on next. I chose thief because it looks fresh and different.

Race, I know racials are too bad to make a difference. What really stood out to me was that i half wanted to do the Ash Legion Story, and half wanted to make that cunning humanoid Thief that looks BA.

Because to be honest the thought of a Charr Sneaking up on someone is kinda silly. I know they’re supposed to be cougar-ish but still.

Tl;DR: Is the Ash Legion Story worth making a big huge Charr and missing out on the looks of the human?

Breaktrhough!

My charr playing Fury of the Dead has it worse than my norn.
The Norn still gets gamebreaking freezes, but less often and less severe than the Charr.

8/10 sounds ghostly and somewhat intimidating

My Charr Engineer’s name is Elijah Klaww, a mix between Father Elijah from Fallout, a mechanical genius and Klaww, the big engineering abomination from Jak.

I’ve put every setting on the absolue lowest, and turned everything I possibly can off.

The game still does this.
What should i do?

I’m running at bare minimum everything

I’ve got 8.00 GB of installed memory
64 bit operating system, 6x based processor
AMD FX 4100 quad core proccessor 3.60 ghz
For Graphics card i have an AMD Radeon HD 7450

I hope this information is useful. I’m not a computer guy so most of this stuff is new to me. If you need anything else please asK, and if you can give a simple explanation how to find it.

Ok, so when i boot up the game everything’s fine. Then when i select the character and walk around everything is good for about 3-6 seconds, then the game freezes/blacks out and goes into a very slow and laggy unplayable state.

I’ve tried cooling my PC, updating graphics card and display drivers.

Can anyone diagnose the problem and give me a solution.
