I was searching the website for an explanation as to what the living world is, what episodes are and how it works but could not find it. I found the bit that explains what story elements are in each episode but that’s it.
So what is the living world? What are episodes? Where do I find this content? Is is instanced? Do I need a group to play it? What level do I need to be? Is it permanent content that I can replay?
I think all of these question should be awnsered some where on the front page in one of the tabs at the top, “Game-Releases-Media-community,” ect . . .
It is not.
I know I probably could find this info in the forums but why should I have to dig for it? These are basic questions.
any one agree, or am I wrong and it is outlined some where but I just did not find it?
So all I know is that Arena Net calls Guild Wars 2 updates living story. What the heck dose this mean? So far I as far as I am concerned there have not been any updates because I have no idea where this content is in game.
I actually have a lvl 80 guardian, but I just started a new warrior. Most of my trip to lvl 80 was just doing map completion and the story, so I was not very active in trying to get new armor till now.
I have become quickly over whelmed. There seems to be a large amount of differant types of trade able goods or currency with which you can acquire armor and weapons from vendors in this game.
In the inventory all you see is karma, gold and laurels what ever they are, but at the different vendors I have seen there are other collectibles you need to get the armor, for instance the vendors in LA at the fort.
This is way to convoluted I think, I should not be getting confused just trying to buy stuff. IMO they did a bad job with this.
But any way can any one try to explain all the different types of currency or trade goods or collectibles or rewards that are used to buy armor and weapons?

I bought a bunch of crystals and unlocked bag slots on my Guardian, to my kitten ed of surprise these unlocks are not account wide.
This is just money grabbing and dishonest.
This game is going to tun into nothing more than any other Chinese mmo, every little thing will have to be bought with real cash.
I am lvl 80, all I can see to do is explore and complete areas, but that is getting old, seeing as the rewards for 100% completing an area are not worth it.
I haven’t completed the story line because there dose not seem to be any reason to do so, the rewards from it are worthless.
The dungeons don’t make sense to me, they seem really random places with no reason to exist in the story. and standing around the entrance looking for a group is ridiculous.
I did the four winds bazaar thing, what a worth less update that was. We got some kind of dumb foot race, wtf.
I really do not know were to go. Were are people getting all this cool armor I keep seeing?Maybe I can try to get a cool armor set. I have no idea were this stuff comes from thogh.
One thing this game dose horrible is letting folks know what is where, and what there is for you to do. I mean I made it to lvl 80 and as far as I can tell none of the dungeons have been part of that progression at any time, they do not come up in the story either.
So any suggestions on what I spend my time doing?
I started playing at launch and got a guardian to lvl 80. I tried more than pnce to do a dungeon with a group and it never seemed to work.
In CM cadices manor I think it is called. I never understood why my character was their, I got a mail saying your invited to CM. And once we started playing the dungeon I had no idea what our goal was.
It was the same thing for another dungeon. Can’t remember what the name of that one was.
but could some one give me a quick run through of the different dungeons and such? Like also what is the differences between exploration mode and the other mode?
Are there like main bosses in the dungeons?
Is there special loot in the dungeons?
