I never was crafting-oriented player, but today I discovered(another time) recipe, which drew my attention.

So, there is this recipe from Mystic Forge:
Recipe: Box/Satchel of Armor:
Varies x Bottle of Elonian Wine
Varies x Crystal
Varies x Mystic Coin
1x Crafted Armor Chest piece

And my question, does it work with Ascended armor? If yes, did anybody try this? Cause I wanna know if it’s more efficent than crafting single parts(When possible to make one ofc).

PS: If there is similar topic on this forum, I’m sory. In such situation either “Search” is bad, or I am at using it.

Gonna join, as a mesmer.
Weapons I personally prefer for Liadri are Greatsword/Sword+Focus.
Sword for 2nd skill, which works as panic button when you are out of dodges.
Focus mainly for pulls/swiftness. Also good to 5th skill her in Phase 1 to negate some of projectiles.
Greatsword – your main phase 2 weapon. You preferebly won’t swap unless in need of 2nd sword skill. What is so amazing in gs? You can push back vision if they are too close and the most important: iZerker doesn’t require you to face Liadri. You can simply run around attacking her.

Build(It’s more oriented towards 8 orbs achiev, but should work,as it allowed me to get this hellish achievement):

Armor is my tanky set, you don’t have to use those runes, but protection is nice. You should also crit often enough to get vigor from traits. As for sigils, I used dungeon weapons+Anomaly with built in sigils, so they were useless… It may be easier if you take sigil of Energy.

Traits also give you 4 condi removals tied with small heals.

Now some tips:
For Phase 1:
1. If you move fast left and right, projectiles Liadri uses have high chance of missing.
For Phase 2:
1. If you get cought in Shadowfall, don’t try to dodge OUT. You have to just dodge the dmg, cause it’ll be safe for few seconds.
2. Try to aoe tag every Vision. It’s possible(If you are lucky) that you’ll rally when one of them walks into vortex.

Can’t think of anything else… For now^^

Edit: →For warriors, Defiant Stance(the newest heal) can heal you up to 100% when shadowfall hits you(You have to activate it ofc).
→Quite known trick. If you turn off “Postprocessing” in video setting, you won’t be affected by blind.(I found this out when I had to play on lowest, cause lags).

Not 100b Light Up The Darkness… Took me quite some time, but the normal kill was in 4th try I think ^^

Using only 2 pvp dailies(from previous 6possible) and increasing required amount to 5 made this. You can do some dailies from pve in pvp, but now we are FORCED to do other content if we want them.

And i don’t understand why merging dailies equals less possible options.

Harpies were my first guess, but wouldn’t largos also be possible? I feel largos kodan would make more sense than harpy kodan.

Noob question maybe but, could someone tell me what is a largo? Another race or another name for one of those?

Largos are an aquatic race. I only know of a handful of them. One terrorizes some Sylvari in Brisban Wildlands. One is part of the personal story. I think there are about three in the waters east of Mount Maelstrom.

There is also event in Frostgorge when largos wants to duel with you. Happened to me only once tho, not sure how to trigger. +One of largos in Mount Maelstorm is skillpoint :p

So i got into Scarlet’s Secret Liar for the first time and opened one of the chests. However I forgot that i have full inventory. Pop up saying “You have received part of Scarlet’s Journal.” appeared, but I don’t have first part. Now after getting all of other part i can’t get my firstone, and coplete journal :c
Happened to anybody else?

I don’t want to make new topic, so:
There is misspeled word ‘Minions’ during invasions. Or Scarlet is commanding Minons not Minions

From patch notes:
“The Permanent Twisted Watchwork Finisher is now available in the Gem Store in the Upgrades category for 500 gems. This upgrade gives players unlimited, account-wide access to this twisted finisher. "

Either there is mistake in patch notes or in price seted, becouse in-game this finisher costs 800gems. Just informing

Kapina, what utilities/weapons you used? And some tips if you can^^

Well, for me it’s not good feeling, mainly becouse I have to do it on max 10fps thanks to zergs around… On yt they can pick up orb and nearly instantly dodge, when i try it i get downed…

Well, i have 2 80lvls, ranger and mes. On ranger she is nearly impossible to do… On Mes i watched yt video, after watching it i beated her in 2nd attpemt. Now i’m struggling with Light Up The Darkness achievement and only thing i would change in this fight is instance it. Camera is annoying, but not as much as lags. I’m very often getting laged or get sick fps drop(down to ~5) in the middle of fight… Separating Gauntlet from Pavilion would be nice. Also i don’t have problem with seeing red circles… It can have anything to do with me having to play on lowest?(And yes, even when playing on lowest i can get 5 fps if suddenly zerg moves under me…)

Main problem with this theory is: Glint was made of crystals, not ice afaik. If it is state different in books then… Well I haven’t read 2nd and 3rd.

You did other Monthly after patch? For example, you did Monthly PvP after patch and now normal Monthly?

Well, I know that people won’t be banned, but as long as this is an exploit ANet should do something asap… And because it is an exploit it should be taking this laurels back, but I don’t have anything against giving them to people that completed monthly pvp before patch

If somebody doubt, this IS an exploit, it perfectly fits the definition… So it generally should be banable.

Can we get any response from ANet? And if there was such, can i get a link?

It works similar to what you think with one difference. When you do for example Shadow Behemoth, you get big chest+extra one with rare. When you re-do it with THE SAME character – you get nothing. But when you re-do it with other character you get only big chest.

It’s not like you can get from both normally. When you have done Monthly before 26.03 patch, you got Laurels from it, right? And if you haven’t done Monthly PvP before 26.03 and do it now, you get extra 10 Laurels from it. So, depending on when you did Monthly and Monthly PvP you can get 10 or 20 Laurels.

Firstly, I think this wasn’t intended so i’m posting it in bug section.

So, after patch we have posibility to gain Laurel via PvP Monthly. That’s awesome, but this is where appears problem. As Monthly PvP achievement is so easy, this change awards people who don’t play pvp normally and/or do it slow. Now you are awarded 10 Laurel after compliting Monthly PvP, EVEN IF you already got 10 from normal Monthly. I’m now 10 laurels lower than players who did Monthly PvP after patch. I can’t be the only one, becouse 5 days before end of the month, majority probably have it done.
