IDK if its been posted or not, but at the very least on my warrior, the 2set of Superior Rune of Rage (+20% Fury duration) doesn’t show on any of my tool tips. GS burst, axe 4, For Great Justice, Signet of Rage, or Precision banner #2 key, none of them show the +20% correctly. Not sure if this is localized to warriors only or I’m just the lucky one out of a million. Minor bug, but a hassle for trying to keep buffs up correctly in a rotation.

Tungsten looks like it may be the closest possible to it, or Graphite. the Calfskin is dead-on though, nice find. Mostly trying to match that slightly pale metallic blue on the majority of the armor.

I spent 3 hours searching to no avail.. I simply cannot find the color that is Rytlocks armor! Please, my fellow furry feisty feline fighters, help a kitten out!

Waaaaaait a minute.. did we just go a whole week with YB and Mag and the thread WASN’T in the 4th-5th takedown by Friday? WHAT IS WRONG HERE?!

Pretty sure it means another piece of your armor is “hiding” it from displaying. the best example i can think of offhand is the CoF token medium body. it hides the shoulder armor because of its visuals. likely say thats the culprit in your case as well.

Every few hours, or roughly every hour, when I zone, i get a crash with the same exact error type as the screenshot included. Has anyone found a way to fix this, or is it just my PC starting to show its age and not have enough RAM? Because it’s getting quite annoying to crash mid farming runs of instances, as well as mid Guild Bounties and Treks.

Buy the 42k karma light body pieces in orr, the exotics. toss 4 at a time into mystic toilet. get sellable exotic light body. sell exotic light body on trading post. rinse, repeat, cash the check.

max out all crafts with only a fraction of the money you have is always a good option.. http://gw2crafts.net/ is a great and cheap way to do it too.

Again, I’ll risk repeating myself from earlier. Great videos, great info, and a lot of skill involved. Just remember as you’re reading this everyone, that’s a lot displayed in SPvP areas. Real game is also different because of how much you can experiment and combine different stats on gear. What’s good for one won’t always be good for the many. GW2 is all about spending the time to explore and find ~YOUR OWN~ style of playing. So let all the wonderful advice given sink in, then expand on that from your own.

I don’t quite understand what you’re complaining about really.. Unless this is just a pity post, in which case why post it? If a monster is 1-2 shotting your warrior, there is something very, very wrong with how you’re playing then. Are you not dodging? Are you eatting AoEs? Have you not looked at how the hate list is (mind you very slightly) controlled by both class priority and armor type?

The following is a short video on how to activate light combo fields on a guardian. I’m sorry for its low quality.

Extremely comprehensive guide from a very good SPvP and tactical minded player. and to fill out the very few voids in the guide you have up, namely the combo fields and finisher info, I’ll post what you missed.

Combos, also called skill combinations, happen when skills interact with each other to create an additional effect. A skill must be a combo field or a combo finisher to be combined, which is an effect which is included in the skill description. For a combo to occur a combo field skill is used creating an area effect and then one or more combo finishers can interact with the field to create a combo. The largest number of combos are available through two characters of different professions working together but combos can also be created with two of the same profession or a single character.
The combo field or initiator is a skill that creates an area effect of a particular type. The type is a recognizable element or characteristic which determines the effect they cause on a finisher; for example, a Flamewall will allow some eligible finishers to inflict burning. The relevant skills will interact so long as the finisher passes through the combo field at any point; for example, a projectile finisher will combo with a field so long as it passes through the field on the way to the target.
The combo finisher is a skill which causes movement through or within the initiator’s field such as creating a projectile or spinning or jumping the player. An eligible initiator augments the finisher by adding damage or creating other effects. For example, using Cyclone Axe near a Flamewall throws fire projectiles in different directions. Finishers can only interact with one initiator at a time. The finisher will trigger on the most recent initiator; a blast finisher will give Might instead of Healing if a fire field overlaps an existing water field.

The four types of finishers each apply their effects differently:

Leap Finishers apply their effect either to the target foe or to yourself.
Blast Finishers apply their effect to all foes or allies in the area where the blast occurred with radius 360.
Projectile Finishers apply their effect either to the target foe or to allies adjacent to the target.
Whirl Finishers cause multiple projectiles to be launched in random directions; each of these bolts functions like the corresponding Projectile Finisher.

The next post will denote the table of what the combo fields are capable of. Fields and finisher both are noted in the info box for the skills of any class, or utility skill.

Hello all forum readers! Jiggawats of Protocol on Dragonbrand here. A few very kind guild members will be teaching Warrior 101 and utility combos to share info and help lower level Warriors learn thier class better tomorrow night just north of Lion’s Arch. I run full Valkyrie type armor, 0/30/20/20/0 build, dual dagger/shortbow for PvP. Malice/Refuge/Scorpion/Shadow/D Storm. Gives amazing survivability and quite a tough, stealthy nut to crack. Personally use superior rata sum runes, Precstack sigil + air sigil. Sits hp right around 18.5k without any major buffs, toughness around 1450 in exotics w/ exotic accessories. Backstabs on nonbunkers average 10k, bunkers 8-8.5k depending on class. P/D 0/0/20/20/30 is another great setup if you want just conditions. Realy depends on your own personal playstyles for a bunker, if you want to be right in the fray or at a safer distance from the bloodshed.

the thing with condition damage on warrior is how the trait tree is lined up. Power tree also gives the same amount of condition damage, so you really dont even need to stack it, just the raw traits make up for not stacking it on armor. I tend to keep a balance overall, pwr/vit/tough on armor/runes in them, prec/condition/healing on accessories sockets, and prec/pwr/vit or prec/pwr/tough on the accessories themselves, then just pwr/vit/tough on weapons. keeps you pretty well rounded, able to take the hits, and dish them right back out. if you want a decently offensive build on your traits, try out this build. ~ 30/20/0/10/10 ~ that a very basic build for offense, but still it lets you keep many things in 1 build. use the majors for: Strength 3-5-9, Arms 3-10, Tactics 5, Discipline 3

@ Maddoctor, thats because sigils with the same cooldown share a cooldown. both air and fire are 5sec cooldowns in them. 2 different cooldowns (blood and fire/water for example) will work fine together. but 2 of the same cooldown (air/fire/other 5sec) wont.

Once you get used to how they act before they shadowstep, you can guess exactly how they will reappear. If, for example, they just go POOF.. in about 2sec they are going to appear directly where you are in contrast to where they disappeared from. If they jump up straight before they disappear, they are going to try to get behind you in about 2-3 seconds. dodgeroll from where you were will dodge both of them though, usually. Once youre used to the timing it gets to be second nature really.

Well it really comes down to what your traits look like as well. If you can make up the lack of precision to keep your crit rate above 33% on just traits, then it is prettymuch your choice. If you cant, there are a few precision based stats on superior rune sets as well.

@ Dovgan, IDK if morning has had a chance to resolve the issue or not, but was it a male or female warrior norn? If its not resolved yet, I would like to narrow down as to what to look for in the guild.

Just a small bit of advice to help narrow down the field when you post like this, if you can, get kitten and attach it to your post, and it helps quite a bit to note a guild, if they have a tag up. Narrows down the searches alot.

I tend to try and use the more “magi-mechanical” looking weapons at higher levels.. they fit the ideal of asurans very well.

using burst skills activates a few different ones as well, ive had “This is your end!” on Evisceration, and a few others i cant remember offhand on flurry.

I like this thread.. It makes me laugh, which isnt easy. But the better question is why cant we all just have a beer together and tell stories of those times we caught a supply train and wrecked it, gaining Karma and EXP, and made good friends with the hundreds of people who got PO’d at you killing thier supply lines and come rushing out to kill one measly little ganker? CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!

Bandits in Brisban are doing it as well. The event bandit leader is up and has a rifle, shes impossible to kill atm.
