Guild Wars 2

Hello everybody,

Considering that Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns will be an important update or expension or whatever, I would like to propose some ideas for guilds.

When I came to Gw2, I expected some good guild options but we have to admit that guild options are quite poor. Here is a list of what I would like to have for a better guild organization:

Suggestions list :

1 -> The first point concerns guild announce : I would like that this announce can be seen by a player when he logs in or change character. At the moment, this announce is almost invisible and i guess that is not the role of such a functionnality.

2 -> Guild message : I would like to send a message to every player that I would checked before in order to prevent them about something, appointment or whatever. So it concerns every player in guild roster even those who are disconnected.

3 -> Guild message 2 : I would like that players could leave a message in guild interface like a mini-forum in order to be seen later by disconnected players for example.

4 -> Guild calendar : I would like to have a guild calendar where every authorized player could add a guild event : dungeon, worldboss, WvW, etc… A summary of this calendar could be seen in a pop-up message when a player logs in for example.

5 -> Guild alliance : I would like to have a guild alliance registry with the possibility to talk in a kind of an alliance chat.

6 -> Guild Bank : at the moment, options for guild bank are too limited. We can either withdraw everything or not having access at all. I would like to have the opportunity to configure in details what players can do with guild bank : how much they can take, how many items they are allowed to take according to a certain period of time (1 day, one week, or something else).

7 -> Guild roster : I would like to have a better organization for guild roster. Since the first day of beta I find that guild roster is messy. I find that the role of everybody isn’t evident. I think a better interface would be better.

Well I think i don’t have others ideas. To resume, I would like to improve guild interface with some options that would allow people to have a better organization for their guild.

Don’t hesitate to complete my ideas with yours.

Living story season 3 here we go !!!! (after a little break of a couple of months of course).

Unfortunately I think the only High End game rewarding content won’t be in Gw2 but in Wildstar. That’s what NCSOFT has decided.

That’s why I gave the exemple of 5 minutes arah.

In the case we post a speed run on gwscr I completely agree that we have to respect the rules given by the community of this forum.

Who did cheat runs like 5 min Arah p3 a couple of months ago without having any scruples about what is legit or not? It was not [Kr] (and I’m not saying it was you).

We don’t have to prove anything, We just post a video on a public forum.

Speed run is the way we like to play gw2 and other games. That’s the reason why almost every run is filmed and got a timer. I don’t see anything weird.

As joey said, we haven’t pretended to post a record….
And you guys directly think if it’s a restricted or unrestricted thing.

@Spoj : rules from gwscr are not official, we practice speed runs the way we want, if you guys don’t agree with that, that is not my problem.

Honestly, are we obliged to respect rules from a non official forum to do some speed runs of gw2? Restricted, unrestricted, who cares? There is only one rule for us, come in the dungeon and do the best time you can without hacking of course, whatever items and tactics you use.

If we wanted to follow the rules from gwscr, we would have posted on that forum.
