I agree to this as well. They need to roll back the crafting to 1-400 = 10 levels.

Why didn’t they wait till after they released all the crafting skill to 500 to do this? Why didn’t they do it for only the ones that can go to 500?

They mentioned a lot of time, you can level from nothing but crafting to max level. Now you can’t.

They kept saying “Play your way” “Play how you want to play” my way of playing is leveling to 80 quickly so I can go any where in the game, instead of seeing the same few maps over and over. I want to run the Personal story line from 1-80 non stop. But no~ I can’t play my way. Can’t play how I want to play.

You can’t trust any thing a game company promises any more, they will say any thing you want to hear to get you to buy the game, but then just screw you over once they sell enough.

That’s kind of what I want lol, The Guild Wars 1 feeling of being able to run through the whole story with out thinking, “I can’t do the mission at Yak’s Bend yet, I’m still to low level, I should go grind stuff till I get the level.” I would love to be able to run the story of Guild Wars 2 with out thinking the same thing.

And I like the part of doing some of the story line in the non-instanced part of the world. But I don’t think they will be changing the current story line in the game.. But it would be awesome if they could to help make the leveling in between each part of the story line more fun.

The sort part:
Please make Personal Story experience rewarded at the end of each part give you the level required to start the next story part, in either the live current game or future expansion of the game (Preferably both). Not trying to make leveling easier, just more fun. Currently the easiest way to level is to pay real money and craft to 80 in 8 hours or so.

The long part:

I love the personal story aspect of the game. I just have one problem with it, After I complete a part of the story, I have to be 2 or 3 levels higher to do the next part, and then another 2 or 3 levels to do the next one, and so on…

This breaks the feeling of the personal story line and requires me to do stuff other than the personal story line. I can’t “Just” do the personal story line like it was mentioned before the game was released.

I would like to start the story at level 2 and and finish the whole games story line with out doing something else for the gaps in between each part.

If for some reason you are unable to change the experience given at the end of a personal story part, At least make sure you have enough story or give enough experience at the end of the story parts for future expansions of the game.

Also, to those people that might say I’m asking to make leveling easier, I want it to be more fun. It is currently very easy to level a character from 2 to 80 in about 8 hours, Just buy 100 or 200 dollars worth of gems, convert them to gold, and craft to 80 with out ever doing any thing else. Just buy your mats from the Trading Post, and level every crafting profession from 1-400.
Seeing how the storyline will be longer than that, It would not make leveling easier.. Just more fun.

Are you sure? I am unable to find any thing about them online.

I checked, Gamestop, Bestbuy, Walmart, and Amazon, and the only thing I see is a page that says temporarily unavailable on the amazon site. The other sites just want to sell me the game or guide.

I don’t know if this is a bug, or an intended purpose, but My pet will not stay stowed. As soon as I get 1 point of damage from any thing, it gets called out.

This is very bothersome trying to do jumping puzzles with.

Or am I missing something where I can keep the pet stowed no mater what happens to me?

Will Arena Net bring out “Gem Cards” like time cards or Riot point cards, but for GW2 gems?

Change the chat and mail system to only allow 1 space in between words or letters.

Now create a list of every known gold seller site, with every possible “spelling” for that site.

And now if any thing on that list comes up, it is automatically blocked from being sent in chat or in mail.

This is better than nothing, which is what seems to be happening. I have map chat off cause I don’t want to see gold ads, and reporting the mail does nothing.

If it isn’t created now or on the To-Do list, A filter system needs to be created for both Chat and the Mail system. It can be used to help block gold Ads, Which is starting to get very annoying.

One Idea is having a filter system that if some key words posted in either Chat or in the Mail match a List, ( Such as “Cheap Guild Wars2 Gold”) the Message or Mail will not be displayed.
Similar to the Bad word system currently in place, but completely removes the message instead of dotting out the word.

If you make it client side and allow the users to add words to the filters, it can help block not just Gold Ads, but other things being spammed a lot in Map Chat that might annoy the player.

Something has to be done about these crazy gold ads, and soon IMO, It’s getting really annoying. Especially when I log in and have like 5 Mails telling me to buy gold. The Mail system is limited, so it makes it even more annoying.
