So I’ve now spent better that 4 hours on this fight.
Aside from issue that Braham randomly open a device physically impossible to reach the boss fight is nicely challenging thus far.
However, I then utter the fateful words “Shield yourself or take flight”.
Luckily I am blessed with good vision – there are rocks to hide behind and updrafts to take.
Sadly, neither of these actually work. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried each updraft and rock – you only have maybe 2 second to hide or spam space so I make sure the boss is near a rock or updraft I’ve not tired before triggering this phase.
What have I missed or how are others getting past this stumbling block?
I have this as well. Highly annoying playing on Windows 10, ASUS STXII sound card.
Hard to hear the dialogue!

We believe we’ve resolved the issue that caused this. Please try again.
Looks resolved at my end, thanks!
Well, one of my machines was finally able to download this file and lo and behold the cinematic now works!

I also have this issue and I wonder if this file is needed to play the cinematic for Remembering Scarlets War which causes the client to stop working when I select the conversational option in Lions Arch.

I see this problem as well …. GTX770, auto-detected settings.
EDIT: Could this be caused by the 1 file missing I have as noted in another thread?

Did you copy/paste the OS X thread?
With a few alterations, yes.
Hi!
I’ve been an active user of Linux the last years and I think it’s sad that gaming companies and developers doesn’t seem to care about the constantly growing Linux market. There are more and more users of Linux based computers which I think game developers should start to take seriously.
Currently I’m running Windows 7, but I would love to get rid of Windows once and for all. For a company as huge as ArenaNet I think they should try to be a flagship and show other developers how the future is (they have already changed the MMORPG genre, so why not open up a whole new world of platforms?) going to be.
ArenaNet has created an OS X client for GW2, so creating a Linux client should be quite trivial as both are UNIX and OpenGL platforms. Also, Valve are porting Steam and their top tier titles to Linux.
I haven’t found a post or anything wether ArenaNet is going to make a Linux client or not, but my guess will be that they won’t unless they get enough requests for it.
So what do you think? Is it time for developers to see that Linux is becoming a huge market and they need to start focusing on that, or should t hey just do what they do today, tell the user to install Windows and don’t give a kitten.
Please keep this a serious and on-topic discussion, and don’t post if you don’t have something useful to add to this discussion.
Should we get an Linux client for Guild Wars 2?
Shamelessly parodied from the A client for OS X thread.
