I have to agree. I’m not a “Run around and get 100% map completion” kind of guy, I don’t see the point in dungeons because there is very little reward for the frustration, wvw is fun when you aren’t getting pooped on, and events can only be done so many times before they’re stale. I don’t see the end-game here. I don’t see whats suppose to make me want to keep playing, or even spend more money to get stuff like town clothes which are completely useless because you don’t wear them over your armor.
I don’t think this game was made with players like myself in mind. I think it was made more for the casual gamer, which is completely fine, how many games are like that? None. Its about time. But theres nothing here for me. No gear progression in the form of raids or something else, no raids which I thought were a blast in other mmos, no point in the dungeons, and not a whole lot of customization to your characters look outside of the character creator.
Right now the only thing making me come back every month is the awesome “holiday” events like the Halloween one which was amazing. Other than that, theres just nothing here for me.
I don’t know much about this place right now, I just hope its not all underwater. Even if its mostly underwater I probably won’t enjoy it. I HATE everything to do with underwater mechanics in this game, they feel so awful to me.
But I have no issue with anything else, its just a few objects that I can’t hit without moving.
I feel like I’m the only one with this issue, because I can’t find a single person who has this same issue.
Whenever I’m playing a melee character and go to attack something like a Supply Cart, or the burrows in AC Exp, I ALWAYS miss them unless I’m constantly moving. If I stand still, I miss. If I’m moving, I hit it. I have no problems if I’m using a ranged attack, and it doesn’t matter what class I am.
Been getting this since the Halloween update (Not sure if its the same code or not) code 7:1000:7006:836:101. I did a little looking around and apparently its because I have an authenticator on my account?

Didn’t know if I should post this here or on the bug report forum, but if I’m doing an event or sieging a fortress in wvwvw and theres tons of people around, the audio will stop working correctly and just start making “siren” noises. Not entirely sure how to explain it, but it starts silent, gradually gets higher, then fades away. The whole thing is about 1 second long and it repeats forever.
My server owns all 3 maps and we’re fighting in eternal atm. Not exactly sure how this happened, usually we suck at night because no one is on. Guess we just got paired up with people who are less active during the night.
btw server is Crystal Desert
Ever since the September 8th (Around midnight) build my game just randomly says I have been disconnected, and I find that my internet has cut off for a few seconds. Its only on my PC and only when I’m playing GW2. I saw another thread like this but his issue happened much more frequently. It happens to me every 30 – 45 minutes.
It doesn’t matter what I do in game, if I’m doing an event or story instance or just idle, it still happens.
So its not just my internet? This has been seriously pissing me off. Its happened since the last build. I thought my modem was about to bite the dust.
I think its because when you bought them, someone had just posted that same item for less, so you get refunded the difference. I think thats what is happening anyways.
What I don’t understand is that when I tried with copper ore, I bought one at 17 copper. Sold for 20 copper, said the cut was 1 copper so I expected 19, but got 18 instead at the collection page. When I collected, it still didn’t give me the correct amount, instead gave me 17 copper. This doesn’t make any sense, if this is intended its the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. At least tell us about ALL of the fees.
