Ok, Torment.

+bleed duration does not effect torment. I have 80% bleed duration…. 40% condi duration. 5sec torment goes to 7secs… only getting the 40% bonus.

BP have any known small man guilds?

We have a few. Krew and Soul come to mind specifically.

I run in a pretty regular 4man group. Phantasm normally leads and our top player is Clone 1. However, don’t tell Clone 2 that cause he thinks he’s the kitten. For the life of me, I can never figure out why we can never beat any equal 4-5man groups. I swear we’re not that bad but hopefully with some practice we’ll be a bit more competitive. Personally, I think I’m the key player of the group and I think our opponents have figured that out cause I tend to get focused every time! It’s OK though…I have a kite!

HoA, don’t bomb me while I’m afk/forming up out front of a tower!

I guess you are referring to me. Was this around the SE Tower today around 4-5 central?

We all thought you were trying to join because of our mesmer, and Knatty kept declining the invitation. As far as getting separated, I over extend a bit and get a little over aggressive, and Knatty (the driver) kept yelling at me to get back to the group.

Stealth Trap

Could this be changed to be more like DAoC’s “Prescience Node”?

Drop an attackable object that pulses stealth removal in a 600-1200 radius. That could last for 1+min(s) or until destroyed.

I just dont find this trap very useful in its current form, but Prescience node was very useful.

Speaking from experience, do not try running a Necro heavy group in WvW.

I see a lot of warnings about Necro groups in WvW in this thread and in several others. You guys clearly haven’t run into one of those “Epidemic Squads” that were popular for zerg-busting a few months ago (back when “zerg” usually meant 30 people, not the 60-80 you usually see now.) Anyway, I don’t have the group build in front of me, but if anyone wants to roam with a havoc-causing Necro group, the basic theory behind it is to put together a group that can throw out every (or nearly every) condition in the game, preferably with as close to +100% Condition Duration as possible. Then have this group drop every condition they have on a single target (choose one that can survive for more than 3 seconds) and have one Necro hit the “Epidemic” button, spreading that series of conditions to EVERY ENEMY WITHIN A 1200 RADIUS!

<ins>Disclaimer:</ins> I will say that I haven’t seen these groups much lately, and I’ve been told that Epidemic has been nerfed into the ground recently, making it blockable, dodgeable, etc. Wiki still lists it as unblockable, but someone who runs an Epidemic build will know better than I. I know that the “Epidemic Button” used to leave every enemy within range completely helpless, with no choice but to run away the second they recognized the animation or stand there and melt.

We ran a group like this a month or two ago. Ran 2 necros, 2 mesmers and an ele, all condition spec. Was a lot of fun, until the nerf of Epidemic. It made getting off a “good spread” difficult. Also, when more of the guild came out (more direct damage oriented people) the target we were focusing conditions on to spread, died too quick and kinda kitten the concept. The nerf to confusion hurt a little… I miss spreading 10k confusions (but it was a bit OP). With the nerf to Epidemic and Confusion, we abandoned this setup, and moved on to a more Direct dmg group. Im sure this setup is still good. Epidemic was made unblockable again, but now required LOS.

I dunno, I have targeted guardians, watched them hit “save yourself”, then I hit corrupt boon and nothing happen. Skill goes on cooldown, the guardian was not rolling away. CB just did not work. And this happens all the time. If I auto attack a few times then hit CB it works.
