I love to draw and since I was young I’ve wanted to create a story inspired by games I played as a kid. I’m no professional and I do this for fun, but as long as someone enjoys my work then I’m happy.
Hope you enjoy the art if you view it! I want to see what anime lovers think of it. I by no means think it’s perfect at all and I change the pages I have up so far almost daily, constantly tweaking colors or redoing them completely. I ink everything on paper, then color it on pc.

Not GW2 but for people that like manga styled stories

Though I am in love with the game, I feel the skill bar on the right should be increased to at least 8 hotkeys. The weapon skill bars are ok, but with only 3 available slots and an elite slot, you don’t have much diversity. And speaking of diversity, the skills really should be looked at, as most of them offer very little in comparison to others, and are never used. I think by increasing the amount of skills we can use, which would require tweaking all the skills first, will increase diversity and create a more thoughtful and fun building your character process.
Though I agree time gating can lead to a check list type of play. You also have to remember you don’t have to do it. Hell if I feel like going to war in WvW or Spvp, I don’t care about doing dailies, I go WvW. No one makes us do dailies and things like that, in reality if not for the need if laurels you don’t even need to do it just because it’s available. That’s like grinding 9999999 gold in final fantasy or something for no reason :p
Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

I don’t think it’s too bad. Difficulty reminds me of the first nes megaman games. It would suck if it was too easy and everyone can beat it with their eyes closed.
This is the coolest event by far xD Takes me back to NES days! Make more of these!!!
How about rewarding massive amounts of time spent in WvW for those of us who are simply addicted to it:p
Make exclusive legendary weapons for Badges. 1 weapon for 10,000 badges for example. Same for exclusive ascended gear and special armor. I think it would keep those of us playing WvW even more addicted to the warring as it would give us more goals, like those who are super interested in PvE or PvP. I already love WvW, but there can be so much done to make it so much better, you are on the right track though:)
Personally, I don’t think this game is geared towards casual players, and reading the definitions of what some people perceive to be a hardcore or casual player is strange to me. It’s not all black and white and everyone has a different life, we’re all obviously players. Some people have more time than others, hell I used to play games religiously since I can remember, now I do it when I can. There is no dividing line though, all types of different players will drop cash sometimes maybe for the cash shop. All types of players may leave the game at any time, or whine about a game, or play it for hours and hours, it won’t just be ‘casual’ or ‘hardcore’ players doing one thing or another, they don’t have a written ruleset of what to act like, it doesn’t even exist.
I’d love to see one on one fights. no capping buildings or anything, just 1 on 1 to the death fights with rankings based on each class, death to win ratio.
Well, 10.000 dollars for the tournament they just announced:p
No the ‘…" wasn’t to make this title seem sarcastic, though I can see why someone would think that maybe.
I just played this game for a month now. Got it when it was released, but only recently started playing it due to being super busy. I hit 80, do WvW, travel and do quests and whoa, this game is like crack. Everything from the gorgeous graphics to the action combat that actually involves some skill and moving around to actually dodge and block unlike so many stand and button mash mmo’s.
I’ve played so many mmo’s, they all feel the same except for Regnum Online, and this one. I’ve played games since I was 5, everything from Final Fantasy 1, to CoD, all the Zelda’s, 100’s of games etc. And yeah, like the title says, this game is my favorite game ever made:p It’s not sarcastic.
It’s all a matter of taste, and this one appeals to me like hell, so like my opening post says, kudos to the developers. After seeing this game, and playing it for just one month, I have to thank someone for giving this to me:p .
If I had to say what this games biggest flaw is, it’s that there are not enough skills to be able to be used at one time, and that the weapon skills are bound to the set keys. I would give a more expanded skill set bar. And that’s the only thing that I found not perfect in this game.
What keeps me in guild Wars 2 is the combat, that’s what sets this game apart from others. The game I come from, there exist resists, and evades, and the system is random. A level 1 noob can be resting and he will resist 3 spells in a row maybe or evade 2 attacks. The game was amazing, I played it for around 5 years simply because I love Realm vs Realm/ WvW games and it nailed it down pretty amazingly despite the evade/resist thing, but I switched to this one because you actually dodge \o/ in this one or block and the fighting is fluid. Not to mention the freaking amazing world.

This game deserves a huge thumbs up, never played anything like it. Captures everything I love about video games. Awesome job guys.
I see your point, but is it possible to even talk to an enemy player? If you are just able to see their names you shouldn’t be able to talk to them, also not being able to attack them. I came from a game that does show the names of all the players, it’s like a small community, same players for years kinda thing, that’s why I bring this up. Competition there is pretty cool because you know who you fight and what they’re capable of. But I see your point as well, especially with a game that has this many players, might end up differently.
I totally agree with you. I would want an area to just test my skills 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 without capping forts or areas to gain points etc. Like first person to kill the other 3 times wins or something and create a new rankings for that.
This probably isn’t super important, but I think WvW would be cooler if you can see the names of enemy players. I like to know who I fight against, especially if the teams are smaller, everyone has a different play style and you get to know the community better I think.
This game is no grind fest. I come from a game where the only way to really level is to grind and only grind and by grinding I mean kill 10000 mobs just to get a level eventually, and you grind for about 3 months,of hardcore grinding without questing to get max level. Level 80 here is a joke to reach, super easy, and relaxing just do the story and then some, I think it is really nice.
