Honestly I think heroes could do good for dungeons, since now it is very hard to find a party to run them. And you miss out on a lot of fun content if you can’t run them. But for this small location where it would do a lot of good it is probably not worth putting in the hours of making it.

As for personal story i doubt it is needed since you can already solo it.

Start Mirage over from scratch, PLEASE.

I also want to put in my 2 cents. Besides the very valid points above here I want to adress the fact that the grand master is a no brainer. Everybody will always pick the supercharged clones. Lets be honest that trait is way better then the rest and should probably be roled into base Mirage.

The problem I see right now is that mirage incentives going up in a group of clone’s, be indistinguishable. This is also the feel you get when looking at mirage skills and at how it is presented(but that could just be me). However the core mesmer mechanic of shatters really classes with this since you lose your niche when blowing up your clone’s.

What I want to suggest is to rework shatters into something a bit more on theme. Just like how guardian gets different f skill with his elite spec. Now i know i am not a balance dev so my idea’s are probably wildly of base but i wanted to give a small example of what I mean.

mind wrack:
All your clones do normal damage for 1 attack (instead of the clone attack that normally only does condi damage they do full damage)

cry of frustration:
Teleport you and your clones to a random position within 500 units of the target. They all do AoE confusion.

diversion
You and all your clone’s gain taunt

distortion
On a low CD, swap with a clone without any visual effects.

I would really like to know what the rest of the people on this forum think about this. Not really about the skills I suggested(feel free to post your own idea’s) but more about the idea of replacing shatters with something more on theme.

My suggestion is that when the new expansion drops to make the HoT maps free to play. Before I explain why I suggest this let me make this clear I only mean maps. Not masteries not stories not even adventures. Only map acces so people can walk around and participate in the meta events

You can’t participate in the meta events without many of the masteries, you can’t even get everywhere without gliding, updrafts, mushrooms, and toxicity resistance.

Some might be partialy obstructed like tarir east for which you need gliding but that would still leave other lanes for which you need nothing. And the point was you couldn’t get everywhere I do not consider it fair to give free players the whole package

Now for my reasoning. At the moment the new expansion drops more and more people will stop playing in the HoT maps and move to the new maps the HoT maps will become less and less populated. The HoT maps are heavily invested in the meta and to keep them fun you need people around.

In my plan free players will lack masteries they will not have acces to things like gliding hampering them but not making it impossible for them to participate(besides the final fight in dragons stand). But they will see people around them use things like gliders and mushrooms to get around incentivising them to buy HoT to be able to do the same.

The free content is completely fair the way it is.

Not saying this for the free players but more to keep the meta running. This is as much for the paying players as for the free players. I am sorry if I wasn’t clear about that

When HoT launched they stated that only new expac stuff would be behind the paid edition, so when expac 2 comes out HoT will be F2P for everyone. No need to suggest it, it’s already going to happen

Got any sources ? If so i missed them and this thread was giant waste of time and space

Necro is the best for this because it can be made very durable with life steal and the double health bar. It is by far the most durable from the casters. While also being versitile. A heads up tough a durable build is different from the builds used in endgame content.

If you like more mobility mesmer/thief is a good option. If you do not like mindless slugging warrior is probably not for you.

If you have HoT you might also want to give revenant a go.

The dagger/dagger ele is also a good option but it is very fragile/glass cannon so if you are a new player it might get frusttrating.

It apears that it is linked to MF so it might be usefull to use some MF boosts if you are realy having issue’s.

This is only based on the experience I had with guildie’s and friends i did not do a in depth analysis of the drop rate.

For me it is also bugged. I read in earlier posts that Anet had trouble replicating it. So @anet is ther anything we poeple with the bug can do to help fix this faster ??

Could an option for reporting this be added. They spoil entire matches and screw entire teams over by just standing in spawn doing nothing. Or if it falls under 1 of the existing options which one is it.

Do not get me wrong i know this is a game but i was wondering if there was an canon reason why everybody can understand each other. For example the asura come from the depths of tyria completly isolated from everybody else yet they speak the same language as spoken top side. The kodan lived isolated on giant floating ice city’s and speak the same language.

If there is no real lore related to this hit me with your best idea/story about it.
