I like the looks of this and will have to give it a shot at some point. Pistol pistol just sounds fun.
Do condition pistol dagger thieves rely more on evasion or stealth? This is the way I’m thinking of building my thief initially at 80, but am curious of the play style.
Just roll necromancer back. Take out dhuumfire and all the other crap and just put it back the way it was before.
If you want to play a condition class roll an engineer, warrior, or a ranger. They do it much better with way more survivability.
This I don’t agree with, I haven’t played my ranger post patch, but I never feel very useful playing ranger in any aspect of the game.
The thing I really liked was at any given time I wasn’t like a god, or unstoppable, but a valued part of something.
I was running in around a seven man group in WVW with my guild last night, and was just having a blast playing Terrormancer. Was a joy to play both roaming taking camps, and sieging keeps and towers. Plus I joyfully got the opportunity to rip people from the walls of keeps to my eager guildies. I didn’t feel over powered, and I certainly died, but I felt like I was doing something important for the group at the same time.
I thought I read that they were contemplating doing something of this sort somewhere. It was in a developer chat or something I thought.
Color me interested. My only gripe is I’d really like to use a bow…
I’ll be watching this for the full on build.
The biggest reason I ask is I’m trying to decide whether to grind ’zerker or carrion gear.
Just curious who is changing their build tomorrow, and what you’re going to run if you do.
I had the exact same experience as Kojiden.
Also having this issue, really hope they get this sorted soon.
Two things:
1. Some kind of stealth reveal trait or pet ability. It is unbelievable there is no counter to stealth in GW2.
2. Stationary stealth for Rangers. You can stealth in the open field and stay stealthed as long as you don’t move. Move = unstealthed for 1 minute. Attack = same thing.
I think the stationary stealth is a great idea, and I also really liked the OP’s idea of sending an incorporal form of ourselves back to a target area to be able to look around for a couple seconds.
I’m soon going to ding 80 (70 at the moment), and want a build I can reliably take from PvE and Dungeons to WvW with my guild with maybe just some trait swapping. I’ve been playing around with some different stuff, and I’m open to suggestions or even a different build for sure. This is just some thinking on my end, and I was wondering how viable it would be.
here is the link to the build: http://www.gw2build.com/builds/simulator.php#1.6.10.12.0.0.0.0.0.0.133.145.139.141.151.0.0.0.376.383.387.396.400.0.0.0.0.425.0.0.0.0.0.30.25.0.10.5
Or maybe this?
