This has been a good back up guild for me, the people are all friendly, and the Christian fellowship is great. Learning a fair amount about WvW even though I am solidly PVE. Xivor and the crew are top notch.

I have discovered, much to my sorrow at the wrong moment, that the mace is inadequate against a wyvern. All other Great Dwarf skills are ok, but mace is only good for being turned into toast. Maybe it’s just because I am the world’s biggest permanoob. It did make me use more of the other control skills, a very short learning curve.

The issue lies in the fact for personal reasons there are those who don’t or won’t want to do PKing. Yes in relation to the overall number of players who do PK it is relatively small, but still it is there. Why should a player have to comprimise a personal stance for a reward?

The way the Monthly Achievements are currently set up means that a number of players will never be able to complete the Monthly Achievements. It has a PvP related achievement, and many for various reasons never have and never will participate in PvP. I realize that WvWvW is a big part of GW2 to many, and Anet would love to see as many as possible participate, but it just is out of the question for some. In some ways the Monthly Achievements are also unfair to those who only have an interest in PvP and not PvE. Salvage, Events and other items may seem just a waste of time for those dedicated only to PvP. Why not make two separate Monthly Achievement chains? One dedicated to PvP one to PvE. This would make more sense in light of the addition of Liquid Karma into the rewards for completion. Then it would be truly open to everyone.
