The raids might be fun if you are a part of a full group or at least 8-9 people that raid constantly together. If you don’t have that and you are forced raid with other pugs then the experience is pretty bad. The amount of success I had with lfg is so small compared to the number of tries. So under this circumstances the raids so far have been a waste of time, gold and completely unrewarding and frustrating, It doesn’t matter that you have the desire to them and invest time, gold and patience into them. If you can’t find another 9 people might as well play something else. Because of this I don’t think adding raids to gw2 was a good idea.

Didn’t have a problem this weekend with Baridin or Siegemaster…pretty sure Owl Spirit was stealth patched late yesterday afternoon….the event did not fail and got my collection piece O_o

Did the events in snowden drifts but i didn’t get the item for the collection.
Are you from Europe? At what time did you do the events for Baridin and Siegemaster?

I keep geting the message that baridin army was defeated and i dont have any dialog options with the npc.

Friend of the owl spirit – the event is required to fail and never does apparently because of people doing the map or trolls. For some reason this is a very popular event nowadays.

Did anyone do these events in Plains of Ashford this weekend? They never seeem to start.

Friend of the owl spirit has become the most frustrating thing I ever had to do in GW2.
Why wasn’t it fixed until now???

It’s been one month so far and the game is still broken. I tried to play some spvp and the lag and dc’s ruined it. Either I get dc or i have a lag so great my team thinks i am afk. When can i play the game properly???

When exactly is this getting fixed???
After the Patch on november 19 i can’t play this game?
From around 19:00 to 23 GMT+2 I can’t log in or If I manage to enter the game the lag is huge and I get disconected.

Hi,

After today’s update I cant log in to the game. Every time I try to log in I get an error message with the Error code: 42:0:9001:4409. Yesterday the game worked well after the update.

Same problem. I tried the portal from Timberline Falls to Lornar and now my character is stuck.

Now I can’t enter in spvp. Really???? Tried all my characters same error.

When I entered a portal between Timberline Falls and Lornar’s Pass the game crashed and gave me this error:
Network error. The inability to connect to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure.
If the problem persists, please visit our support website. (Code=5:11:3:159:101).
I restarted the game and the computer but every time I try to log in with that character the error above appears.
What is the fix to this?

Just did this instance for the 5th time and still no achievement. How hard is it to fix it?

This would work better if you gave us the option to chose what maps we want to play. In my case you are just forcing me to play Skyhammer when the maps comes up in SoloQ.
If you could chose the maps you want for soloq and still quit the the punishment would be ok but if you are forced to play a broken map like Skyhammer which you don’t like 2 times in a row you get punished for nothing. I thought the hole idea was to have fun playing the game not being forced into something you don’t like.

Ressing a 7 month old thread, that is unrelated to Skyhammer, to complain about Skyhammer? Really?

If you want to pick the map, play hotjoin. If you’re playing for rewards, then you don’t get to pick. If you’re just looking to avoid Skyhammer but still get good rewards, enter team queue.

The main idea was that because of one map you can’t choose you could get dishonorable because you can get two in a row. Starting with this year I decided to no longer play that map just because I wouldn’t be fair to the other players. There are threads and threads about Skyhammer and yet Anet doesn’t do anything. If they don’t care why should I? And to make matters worst you may end up not being able to play spvp for one or more days because of dishonorable.
I play team areana when I have a team assembled and we are on TS. And also I like to play solo and team because they challenge you in different ways.

Thank you for the response.
Before uninstalling I checked my connection, drivers … They work fine and are up to date.
Like I said i’ve been running this game without any problems since its release.
Right now I am trying to run the gw2 client from dvd or site but after a while my download speed drops to 0. Had this problem on wednesday. After 3 and a half hours of trying I was able to install the latest update then.

Ever since the new update appeared my game went from working fine to worst.
First there was the download problem: it didn’t start or it would just freeze after a while.
Then there were the crashes and log in problem.
Now it lags all the time and the skills don’t work.
I just uninstalled the game. Big mistake can’t install it back again client doesn’t work again.
Solutions?
