Human Engineer might be a contender. I have no experience so I can’t say how STRONG the heals are, but there are lots of them there.
There’s a trait so bomb explosions heal allies and the bomb kit’s auto attack is… a bomb… as well as a 5pt trait passive to make a bomb when you dodge.
The human racial skills all put ranged ground target AoE’s on your toolbelt with support actions. Heal, cleanse, and grant random boon to allies/condition to foes.
Plus your usual support options. Elixer gun and elixers.
The only reason ‘why’ is that it hasn’t be implemented yet. Game development for an MMO is always ongoing. I’m sure we’ll see proliferation of weapons in the future. It’s an easy way to add content without requiring special new art.
If, as part of an expansion or major patch update, they made a new necro ‘widget’ primary weapon, they would have to have their art people make a bunch of equivalent widgets to all the other weapons, PLUS, equivalent to any new weapons in the new content, but for all their work they would only create one weapon for one class.
If, on the other hand, they gave necromancers the ‘sword’ weapon, they would still be able to add three new primary weapon skills, but they wouldn’t need to go retroactive with their art. They would only need to add new swords for the new content, and they would be available to everyone. Not only is this more efficient, but with the saved time they could make MORE new swords.
Pragmatism is a wonderful thing.
I think a better question is WHY we don’t have other weapons that could easily be used by many classes. Whips for example can be fancy, magical, evilish, and dexterious. If you include flails and lump them as ‘flexible’ weapons, that could easily serve every class.
I would like to see flexible and polearm weapons added ASAP, even if only one or two classes got them right away. The longer we wait, the more swords they create, the more widgets they’ll have to back fill later!

Where can I find a list of skill-specific damage coefficients? I remember seeing a few posted in the warrior forums with people comparing weapons, but I am not seeing any kind of master list.
Regeneration stacks duration, so I believe they would just make the total length of the Boon last longer.
So the benefit would be that people would be able to leave the banner area for a longer period of time and still be regenerating.
So for example if I saw someone standing mostly still and DPS’ing at range, I could put the two offensive banners on them (Not that I would necessarily use both of those skills, just a hypothetical.). It would only take ONE banner to keep then regenerating since it pulses the regen over and over but other people who pass through the area for only a pulse or two would get a longer regeneration to take with them, and since -presumably- it would stack faster than it goes down, when that person moved or was chased away from the banners they would continue to regen for a long period of time.
Bump with new Q:
I see there are weapons that give end on swap no more than once per 9 seconds, and that I have a trait that gives -5sec to weapon swap, but what is base weapon swap time? Will that trait make me swap too fast?
Can I have more than one banner active at the same time? How do the regeneration effects from Inspiring Battle Standard interact if the radius of the banners overlaps?
Returning player, intending to main a warrior. I work nights on weekends (now) and so I generally play online games at night on weekdays when population is at it’s lowest for any given game.
What’s the best overall build for leveling mostly by myself?
I started off greatsword / rifle simply because I intend to use that combo later in the game. Worked great for trash mobs, especially with the lowbie equipment giving power, but veterans and things were surviving my burst then tearing me down before I could do it again.
I’m shifting towards downright tanky gear. Runes on the trading post are nice and cheap, so it’s easy to get lots of +toughness. Using the Sigil of Bloodlust for stacks of power to keep my damage relevant, and using an axe so I can put a shield in the off hand for more defense and interrupts. Is that as good as it gets?
What about specs? What low end traits are most noticable? Lots of interesting traits and passives in the first ten spec points, but no numbers! How much armor when HP is over 90%? How much damage at the end of a dodge roll? Any real gems in there that have a strong effect?
Any tips for solo leveling a warrior, completionist style 100%’ing zones, would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Goals for condition damage/duration? I seem to remember (returning player, got to about 35 on an engineer around launch time) from warriors that bleed wants lots of duration to get the counter higher, but condition damage doesn’t hurt right? What about Poison? Which helps poison more?
Will the +X% pistol damage trait help my bleed damage?
What about +X% damage ‘if Y condition is met’ traits?
Bleed/Poison damage too, or just the basic attack damage number?
I like the sound of a lot of the spammy little heals. Signet of Malice, Assassin’s Reward, and Leeching Venoms. Do these give decent HP returns and/or Scale well with the healing power stat?
I’m looking at this on the character builder (read: NOOB THEORYCRAFT ALERT) and I’m not sure where to go. Basic idea being an evasive / leaching duelist with the highly synergized spider venom trump card for a burst of damage when I need it.

Post your warrior. i wanna see some sexy armors!
I had a few characters around launch before taking a break.
Now I’m returning to play a greatsword / spear warrior.
Liquidated my old assets for a nice little pile of silver and transmutation stones, so I can look awesome from the start. Just hit 10 for my helmet and I already look pretty much the way I want to for as long as I play. Maybe minor dye changes, probably look for a better gold color, and of course I hope to make a big awesome legendary greatsword.
Thanks Oglaf!
I played around launch and experimented a lot. Returning now to do a warrior. I know I like the critical hit line and greatsword / spear, but I’m not sure what to do with the rest of my points. It’s really easy to spend every one of them on more damage between the Strength and Discipline lines, but that just makes me a rather narrow character.
Long way to max level though, plenty of time to think about it.
Okay, but it WILL cure two conditions from myself and others, even though I’m not really using the skill and don’t have it equipped right? The trait auto and the rune passive will still work off each other?
EDIT 2/3/13
New Q’s!

When you have a trait effect that says ‘automaticaly uses X’ do you actually count as using the skill, or is it just saying you get that effect on yourself? Will it trigger other things that use that skill format like ‘Elixer’ or ‘Shout’? Will your character stop and do the animation for it, which could be interrupted by moving or being knocked down?
In specific, if I have all three of these, I will automatically use ‘Shake It Off’ to cure two conditions and break stun for every ally within 600? That seems dubiously effective and awesome… so I just wanted to check here. If it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t.
Soldier runes x6 = Shouts cure 1 condition.
Tactics trait ‘Shrug It Off’ = Use ‘Shake It Off’ automatically if you have more than one condition.
Shake It Off = cure one condition from yourself and nearby allies, also breaks stun.
