Not entirely related to art (unless you consider writing an art, which I do) but I haven’t been able to get an answer anywhere else yet.
I’ve been taking screenshots of typos in NPC speech text and items. Is there a place where typos and grammatical issues can be reported?
Given the general culture of the internet, this probably is not as big a deal to most players as it is to me, but there are some truly wince-worthy typos and grammatical errors in Guild Wars 2. I did not expect such a lack of polish from a professionally produced retail game, and I am a little upset by how easy it is for the little things to tarnish the shine of an otherwise pretty game.
As I’ve been playing, I try to speak to all the NPCs I encounter and read all the tool-tips for items, and I take a screenshot when I see errors. I’m not professionally trained, but I do know that “frey” is not “fray” and “talkng” isn’t correct. Is there some centralized thread where these errors can be collated for your editing team? Do you have an editing team? (Would you like one?)
I am VERY SAD that I am stuck on this bug right now. I’ve already gone through major bugs with large portions of my storyline on another character being skipped because I had the gall to play a massively multi-player online game with…another player. Now I’m stuck again.
Between the very obvious grammatical and QC errors which should have been caught in beta (and I would have reported had there been a decent report system in place) and these storyline-halting glitches, I’m really disappointed in A-Net’s quality team. Yet they’re holding up the fix for this? Pfff.
Oh please. Please, please. I love playing my guardian – I feel strong and buff and epi-SQUEAK! … sigh It’s like this tough magical warrior can’t even lift her own sword. Not very heroic feeling.
(The most amazing thing ever in the entire world – which is asking far too much, I know – would be the option to choose between even as few as a “girly” sound set and a “warrioress” sound set. Or something like that.)

Class: Thief
Server: Tarnished Coast (US)
Story Step: Completed “The Trap” and then was skipped over to “Suspicious Activity.” Currently on “Critical Blowback” and proceeding as expected.
Issue: Although it seems I chose to help the krait somewhere in the middle where I have a large blank between these two storylines (despite the partner I was running with choosing to help the hylek), I can now continue my personal story. However, I do not have my Order of Whispers banner on my account – and I want it. As this defect is related to the story-skipping bug I suffered, I’d like to know when I can hope to have my Whispers banner!

I, too, have had this issue! I was questing with Zigor Itzal and we both intended to choose the Order as that point came up at level 30. He was in control of the instance and made his choice, I clicked to agree to go on with it. I received no reward and my personal story skipped ahead to “Suspicious Activity (48).” His character remains able to continue his story. My affected character – Zurine Haizea of the Tarnished Coast server – is unable to progress.
I have been having a similar issue on my character, Zurine Haizea. I was leveling with a friend – Zigor Itzal – and we were able to do concurrent personal storyline until after we chose to join the Order of Whispers and were sent off to Lion’s Arch. Upon arriving at Lion’s Arch, I could go along with Zigor on his adventure, but although my personal storyline should be concurrent with his, I was no longer allowed advancement. Instead, my story tells me to go to “Suspicious Activity” which is still 15 levels too high for me.
