i posted the temporary solution (until anet fixes the problem) a few hours ago. i wonder why people dont read.

Your temporary fix does nothing for people who used a portal to a map that is broken. When I exited Sparkfly Fen to Mount Maelstrom the client logged me out with the error code. Each subsequent login brought me to Sparkfly Fen again, immediately followed by the Mount Maelstrom loading screen, immediately followed by the same error. Getting a friend to Sparkfly Fen did not do anything, and having said friend try to get to a “new” Mount Maelstrom sent HIM into the same error I was having, leaving us both with unaccessable characters.

Thats exactly how it worked for most of our guild – they entered a map, dc/ed and everytime they tried again to relog the character, they get those 2 loading screens followed by that error…and it worked for every single of our members the way he described (none of us stuck anymore on any character – at least none Im aware of)

We just fixed this for two seperate accounts, maybe coincidence? Have someone on a working map (any, not just the one you are stuck in) to invite you to party on other character…then, while in party, try to log the “stuck” one.

Edit: 5 guildies fixed that way now

Ever since the introduction of (put some swear words of your choice here) megaserver drove us into WvW, I get the feeling its slowly improving…yes, very slowly.
After that last big exodus of most major guilds, it really boils down to numbers – I can see how training more new people and overall better skill/tactics can cover some but on average there arent enough people around.
During peak times we can hold our ground but we are talking a few hours a day here and not every day. Not sure how to manage getting other people to migrate to UW really but if anyone enjoys fighting as the underdog, we’d love to take you in!

We will soldier on and stay on UW.

PS: and to avoid getting the wrong idea – we are still having fun

Same thing for us, broken since patch. The moment someone logs off, timestamp goes to “unknown”.
We are also capped at 500 so recruiting is effectively on hold since even though new people ask to join, we cannot judge who is inactive and to be removed.

Sounds fun, will see to gather some from our guild to join in.

Same…I opened another thread since I also cannot send any ingame mail anymore either

So, as of 2 days ago I cannot mail anymore -I get “! Processing previous mail” and since I’m leading a rather large guild, thats giving me a rather big headache.

At the same time, I also cannot sell ANYthing anymore on the trade post – I get “Error attempting to sell”

I reported this as a bug but so far nothing…would really appreciate some help on this…

About us:

The guild was founded on day one of pre-release by 7 original members who knew each other for some years (some for real, some from other games including GW1)

We currently have a bit over 100 members and often 15-20 online. While our main language is English, we have over 20 countries represented within our membership.

Some further attributes we use when advertising us ingame are: friendly, social, running TS3 server & forum.

About you:

We have no firm barriers keeping anyone from joining, however, there are a few things to mention and consider.

Our guilds’ age range is ~16-46, the average age is 24+.
Using forum and teamspeak is not required but recommended.

How much experience you have with the game (installed today? played since GW1 beta?) does not matter – considering us your main guild and representing accordingly does.
