The fact that supply of effected crafting items did not change until after the recipes were made public should prove that it was not used to make somebody a lot of gold.
Except when they did…http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/19731
Huge demand spike on June 26, followed by substantial dips in supply.
I highly dobut a character slot would generate such a spike.
Why, when the last time character slots went on sale also caused a gem spike?
Four level 75 blues I crafted leveling weaponsmith and listed at vendor+1 to make space. Still there after 6 months….
Yes, both buy and sell orders are processed in FIFO order for the same offer price.
FIFO or near enough not to quibble over specifics.
There used to be a bug in the order queuing algorithm where you could induce it into LIFO behavior. This bug was easily exploitable, especially by bots to put their orders at the top of the queue, pushing everyone else’s down. It got fixed.
I’ve found the trick to using Orrmaps is to ignore the server map, click on map list, and find 2-3 personal maps from your server that appear to be reliable and frequently updated.
No, it’s not a bubble. More of an anti-bubble. The price isn’t being inflated by speculation. It was being deflated by a rash of teleport-hacking node bots. I’ve seen the kitten things quite frequently in the past month. ANet likely got around to banning this batch and the price is recovering as the unnatural supply dwindles. If you look at the other price history of the other logs, they are following a increased pattern.
Perhaps on Hover, like the map completion star.
Which is the same solution GW1 used to deal with title clutter while easily putting them on display.
I do notice it’s not LIFO-like anymore, but that doesn’t mean it’s FIFO. The devs said there was a bug in their prioritization scheme that made it act like LIFO on occasion. They most likely fixed the bug to make it work as they intended, not dump it for a FIFO scheme just because some power traders on the forum think that’s what it should be.
As people level their crafting disciplines, the demand for crafting materials will naturally shift away from the lowest tier toward the higher tiers. Right now you see the mid-tier mats spiking as more players require those to progress their craft skills. This pretty much explains the long-term trends in crafting mats.
There’s also Calx’s Hideout in the SE corner of Metrica Province that can only be accessed through DE’s (Parnna’s Gate).
Same thing here. Gixx will follow me around but won’t advance the story when I talk to him.
I know that since at least BWE 3 they don’t give karma, only coin through the mail and xp. Maybe earlier, but BWE 3 is when I have my own video of heart completion and the floater pops up for the xp alone.
Adding that it happens when the members are offline. When they’re online, they show up as actual names.
I’ve come up to it where the skill event pops up on my screen, but there are no ghosts to fight.
Some graphic anomalies with the emblem. 1) The guild emblem doesn’t show up in the editor under Emblem Only. I have to switch to Banner to see what I’m doing. 2) The emblem shows up in the guild window, but if the interface size is Large, it shows the emblem cropped in half. (for reference I have AMD 7750 1GB card w/ Catalyst 12.8 driver)
Sometimes I don’t see active upgrades or can’t queue an upgrade. This issue comes and goes.
