Guild Wars 2

Its related to client crashes / bugs in WvW. Last night (and this has happened to many in my guild) I was playing in WvW for a good 3 hours. We had several people that were stuck in queue to get into Emery Bay. We just finished taking a keep.

Screen goes white and up pops a window saying the client experienced a problem and them I’m returned tot he desk top.

I quickly fire up the client again and log right back in, but as everyone knows I am no longer in WvW. And I am now starting a Queue from ground zero. It took over an hour for me to get back into the game I was playing prior tot he client crash. My friends in the guild that started playing well after me got into the queue before me. In fact I’m pretty sure they would have taken the slot I left.

I understand the need for a Queue. I understand that the client can crash for allot of reasons. Heck it could have been my PC or ISP. It happens. This is not about that. This is about the fact that I could not return to the game I was playing. There should be some sort of a buffer to allow someone to get back into WvW in this situation. If I log back in within a minute, you should put me back into WvW.

Its not right that I wait in line, play WvW for 3 hours. Have some glitch, and I’m forced to get in the back of the line. This probably isn’t a bug, but working as designed. But its a realty bad design and should be fixed.

Last night 9/5 I bought several boost items with Gems. The Gems were decremented from the account but the items were never delivered. I thought it might be delayed but today still not delivered.

What do I need to do to get my items or for you to return the gems?

This is not a Bug but more of a request related to game play in WvW. We have many people in the guild waiting on the long queues. Sometimes 2 hours just to get in and play. We noticed about 10 to 15 players crafting in the zone.

This is certainly not against the rules, a bug or an exploit, but these 15 players were taking up space for people who wanted to play WvW. So the main question is why even have crafting inside the WvW zones? There may be some advantage, but I dont know what or why.

I suggest you simply close the WvW crafting function all together and let people craft as they are in the main game waiting on a queue. The funny part is we were losing and 15 players would have turned the battle.
