!!!# patch for this when they release this large patch on the 16th or whenever its due to drop. This is just F!!#!% B!$S#!@%. I am so beyond fed up with Anet and its inability to support platforms that it states it supports. It is bad enough there still is not a native mac client and that going on 2 years of beta. I would love to see a spreadsheet of how much money Anet has made from us Mac users since release. So that when people on this platform start walking away Anet cannot sit there scratching their heads wondering what just happened.
Be patient, coding the whole game for a whole different OS isn’t the easiest thing. Be grateful mac even has a client.

I am currently running OSX 1.6.8, while the game requires 1.7.5. In order to upgrade my osx, do i need to buy OSX mountain lion to play the game, or is there another alternative?

If anyone has opinions or changes that would make it better, please share.
This is like saying PvPers who PvE shouldn’t be able to use their rank finishers.

Anyone can make a legendary, even PvPer’s it just takes dedication and time.
People work for their own things, so they should be able to show it off in the game.
You seem really emotionally attached to this issue, you should give roleplaying a go.
I look at it this way. Guardians are weaker warriors that provide more boons/support. You might not do as much damage but the support you bring is outstanding.
A great way to notice this is the hammer for each profession. A Warrior can brute force down just about anything with the current state of the game. Guardians however have a little bit longer swings but can provide fields (which often don’t get taken advantage of). That means that even though your 3rd auto-attack for hammer on Guardian is super slow, you’re providing AOE protection versus the Warrior that is just doing damage.
When I play Guardian, I benefit myself from all the regen by using clerics gear. This allows me to keep my moderate DPS going while in the middle of the fight for longer periods of time. Warrior however is mostly PVT gear with higher damage but I have to get out of the main battle more often. Its a trade-off that you have to choose between….then again, these are my builds and how I choose to play. I’m sure other people are different.
This post pretty much summarizes the differences between Warriors and Guardians. Though both have their pros and cons, they are both equally good. It just makes it so difficult to choose which one to play :<

Anyone know the current go to ranger wvw build, solo roaming or zerging?
I was looking for Axe + Torch / Sword+Dagger, but i dont know gear setup. Any help will do
Personally, my two sticking points were survivability and mobility, but I also wanted to take full advantage of conditions. So I went with this build.
If it makes a difference, I am usually roaming with a small group of 3 or 4, so survivability is really important. Basically, I’m looking for a build that has pretty good survivability to I don’t die on my group, but also enough damage to keep my own and help my team spike down targets.
Edit: Also, i would really want to use sword/shield, so would condition be my best bet?

I’ve been trying to find out for a while what the “go-to” small group wvw build is and i’ve been bombarded with dozens of builds. I just want a little help finding out which one is the best for small group/solo roaming in wvw.
I recently got a new router, and I haven’t been able to play ever since. I can log onto my account, but I can’t play or create characters.
Any help on what I can do?
It’s mainly error 42 and 58.
