Just want to know, what is the team going to do with those “lucky” ones who receive a chest incorrectly (either already gotten the chest from the event itself, or those who did not attend and gotten the mail)? Are the other players just going to let it go again? This is beginning to look like the whole karma fiasco again, where those who exploited the game got away with it and the others was suppose to move on….
Not saying that those who incorrectly receive the chest from the mail should be punish, (since it’s not their fault at all for receiving the mail), but compensation should be given to the others who didn’t receive 1 at all.
BTW, I don’t think anyone will come forward and admit that they incorrectly receive a chest. Its like admitting to a crime. People are afraid that their acc will be investigated and their chest remove.
Didnt the worst abusers actually get stuff taken off there account though? so things were done to resolve that from waht i can remember
I don’t know, did they? You’re post isn’t exactly oozing with confidence. If you have a source on this I would be very interested.
Info you required :P

but kinda off topic my apologies
That happened prior to the Lost Shores event.
Life isn’t fair BUT games are supposed to be fair. That’s why there are rules, so nobody cheats or gets an unfair advantage. Spare me your cliches and high horse attitude.

But those who participated in the event get two (at least).
No, not everyone who participated was mailed a chest. It wasn’t that simple. The chests were mailed — with some admitted errors — to those who participated and who we believe had not received a chest.
Yep, errors were made. But nope, not everyone who was there got a second chest.
Sorry, that wasn’t what I meant. I hoped the rest of my post would clarify that, but that was my error.
I mean, if you send everyone a chest, then everyone who already completed the event will then have two chests (apart from the unlucky ones who got DCed, who will at least have one). This makes everyone, including those in the unwanted timezones happy, and allows the people who did the event to still have an advantage.
If not everyone (which I still think is fairest), couldn’t there at least be a compromise with everyone who participated in some part of the weekend? Still allowing people who looted the chest once to get a second one, and thus maintain a reward for their work, whilst acknowledging that many players wanted to do the same work but were unable to through no fault of their own.
I agree they’re making everything too complicated. I know I’m personally not asking for everyone to get exactly the same number of chests, that would be nice, but I can understand that from a technical perspective it may be a nightmare. Sure if my buddy got 2 and I got 1, that stinks but 1 is better than 0 and would go a very long way to quell the outcry of not only today, but all of the negative communication that has occurred since their failed event ended.
So now that it’s been pretty much proven that ALOT of people have been mailed the chest that did NOT attend the final event and are able to keep the chests dosent this cause problems with the entire community?
Is that proven? I don’t really see that many people saying “I didn’t attend and I got a chest.” In fact, I’m trying to find people who, for instance, didn’t log in all weekend, and positively did not attend the event at all, but who actually got a chest. Haven’t found but one, and I’m looking into that.
There’s no denying that some people got a second chest without needing it. And there’s no denying that some people who earned the chest didn’t get one. I’m just not seeing the “I didn’t attend and got a chest in my mailbox” comments.
Does it really matter at this point? We have players claiming that they didn’t participate and you said in an earlier post, that’s ok, we won’t take it away. So you condone giving out accidental loot to some lucky customers but what about the rest of us? We’re just unlucky?
Same here. I’ve submitted a ticket with screen shot. No reward or answer yet.
No matter if you put screenshot or not mate since as obvious participating to event is not a criteria to get restored with Karka Chest while people who wasn’t event online the whole 3-4 days of the event got the chest.
As someone who wasn’t able to participate this is event and fix is a lose-lose as other non-participants are being rewarded.
See, I had gotten over not getting anything from the event.
And then this happened, and friends/guildmates got mailed chests, and including people who had done the event not once, but twice (getting a total of 3 chests)
And then they decide to hand out new chests, and I still don’t get one lol. The wound had finally closed, and then was wrenched back open and had salt poured in.
It’s annoying.
Since I wasn’t able to participate I was over the event drama as well since I really like the game. However, hearing that non-participants were rewarded, and participants were doubly rewarded; well that kind of chaps my hide and now I’m really irritated again.
With all the scaling this game has it boggles me why they didn’t scale dungeons for 2, 3, 4 people. Even the rewards could be scaled. So weird that I’m forced to group with strangers.
idk but I hope so considering people who were originally rewarded are getting extra
