I didnt plan on this being a simple search. Iv already talked to a few guilds that had qualifying recruitment pages and a few old friends.
If everyone just reads to the 4th line then 99% of guilds should be weeded out. T1 and 2 are attractive only because they will always have enemy zergs to fight but are unattractive for many reasons.
Iv mostly been on my War since back, which is only 2 weeks, but I also mained Guard and Mez before my leave.
War: pvt soldiers with some healing in trinkets, hammer/sw/wh, 0/0/30/30/10 shouts, mango pies or omnom bread and stones but this was built for commanding a zerg. I also have a condi set, wasn’t my playstyle, but didnt give it too much time honestly.
My guard and mez builds are 6 months old and probably not worth posting.

If I find what Im looking for I will start my research again, starting with all the patches since I left, then looking into most classes and builds. Im hoping I find an established guild for this but if I only find individuals willing to start this then I will make it happen.
Hello my name is Vidar. I just recently started playing after about 6 months off. I left after a failed search for what this post is all about. Im looking for a small guild focused on WvW and GvG. By small I mean everyone knows each other like a good friend from raiding with daily. Never a Zerg. If it is possible to field 30+ members you choose to split into 2 groups or even 3. The type of gameplay and tactics Im in search of would have, at least, these characteristics:
-strong, decisive leadership
-everyone rolling specific builds, no exceptions
-the confidence to seek any battle, no matter the odds
The rest we can talk about if this is interesting so far. Also server is not an issue if I can find what I’m looking for.
Theres probably at least a few problems with this idea but why not have the 1st place server move up and 3rd place server move down after every week. Now that there wont be huge transfers this sounds like a great option. Every server will have different opponents every week. Those who are always between the same tiers always have “lets get em next week”. Im not sure but once we level out completely with our current system it may become very boring if we know we cant move up and will always face the same servers.
I am looking for a guild or even just a group of people who rather than zerg, would prefer to form small parties with specific builds that compliment each other well enough to roam about in WvW without fear. I have gotten my fill of the current PvE content and zerging in WvW. My enjoyment now comes from being a part of a small party of 4-5 and rolling up to any group of enemies without hesitation. It has been very difficult to organize, let alone ask someone to gear/build a character specifically for this.
I almost have an 80 of each class and wouldnt mind gearing any of them to fit a certain role in a dedicated party.
I do not mind changing servers before or after paid transfers. My log time fluctuates frequently between 5am-10pm server.

I disagree with making the new gear purchasable with badges. Their sole purpose should be countering the giant devouring gold sink that is WvW. Karma on the other hand would be a good choice, rather than creating another currency for everyone to learn how to farm, then get nerfed, then buffed, then exploited,…
Glancing at the current score evolution, we’ll likely be in this same matchup for a good 4 to 8 weeks. The only server that has the potential to shake things up is Kaineng.
Better learn to love eachother.

I almost think I have the most fun around noon eastern time when its usually just a few vs a few. I’m going to enjoy getting to know these two servers.
There have been multiple threads like this and I dont see them as productive. Everyone throws in their two cents and says arena net is lazy or something. Lets all just look forward to their major WvW patches coming in a month or so and give them even another couple weeks to tweak anything they couldn’t predict from those patches. Then lets start this up again if needed.
I welcome all the new guilds and am glad you’re here. I made a more general statement as to not point fingers. My comment was mostly aimed at the constant negetivity in team chat, mostly the first half of last week. I’v talked to multiple people about this and they blamed it every time on how bad their last server was. Dragonbrand has a great community and usually high morale.
I’m enjoying the challenge this week. I jumped in our bl soon after reset and we could barely hold our top forts. We tried taking gar about 10 times but their siege held us off til their zerg could show. You guys have great communication it seems. This week is going to be a lot of fun!
Looks like our Taiwanese guilds are going to be holding us in the fight. We had a few NA guilds transfer in these past couple weeks but they seem to have brought a few bad habits from their previous servers. If they work out their kinks we should be sticking around this tier for a while
