My question is on getting banned if i buy 1 more account to fund my current account?
What i mean by that is can i buy 2 gw2 accounts and then run bosses on both, but give the loot and drops all to 1 account without getting banned? or is there something in the ToS that states that i cannot do that?

Its throughout the level 20s, i think posted it a while back first day after the post. I got 2 levels from cooking at level 27-29 and then i got no levels from jewelcrafting. so level 29-29. All of my professions went from 0-400. I really want to play, but i am bummed about the leveling that i do not feel like playing unless this problem is fixed. I wasted like 10gs already. Are you guys still playing? maybe they would reimburse us levels or rare items to make up for the lost time?
i levelled my cooking from 1-400 and i went from 29 to 30ish. I initially thought they nerfed crafting exp but after reading this I guess its a glitch instead. what a waste of mats time and gold.
well i you got levels hahaha in my previous bug post i got 0 levels at 29 from crafting 0-400 jewelcrafting. Are you still craft leveling? i want to play but i do not want to put gold into another profession that will not level me again…….
Hello Arena Net, i posted this on the discussion forums and then i reported in game on the supports tab. It also said that i should post my concerns and bugs to this forum too, so i hope i did not break any rules by posting this again.
My bug is with the leveling of my character through crafting. I understand there were nerfs too the crafting a while back but i find it weird that i got my cooking profession from 0-400 and leveled only 2 levels going from 27-29 on my alt. What is further the problem is that when i got my jewelcrafting from level 0-400 right after i gained NO LEVELS, just a couple of exp but no LEVELS. I posted it to the discussion and people tried to level with jewelcrafting and cooking and got the appropriate level boost of 6-8 levels. So if you can please advise ASAP, it would be very helpful. I understand you are very busy with the patch and the community complaints, but i just want to know if i should stop playing on this account till advised or continue leveling through profession or anything else.

So I just woke up, of course I can’t expect changes next day from arena net…… So do I try and level my other professions and play normally on the character or just give up and wait for them to do something?
… There’s a reason you don’t do that. Those people chose to leave. Their opinions have value, but its below the value of those who support you and stick around. If you go after the black sheep you might get him back, but you’ll probably kitten off everybody else in the process.
I just wanted to quote that cause I think it’s important to mention that making the existing, more stable customers happy especially if their happy is above the satisfied spectrum they tend to externalize the happy, like answering questions in game, going to help some one in need of help .. and if they are extra happy with the game and the enjoyment factor they may even offer their time and or knowledge.
Well said, there are business trainings and seminars that state the customer retention and keeping older customers are the best form of business success. You keep the loyal customers happy and they will bird dog you new customers. You chase the new 1 time deal customers and displease the loyal members and you lose money. New 5 year old kids and new people won’t buy gems but people who love the game and are loyal and veterans to the game will buy gems.
I got two levels last night from 17-19 with Tailoring 1-75. Something definitely sounds like it bugged on your end. Ask them to look into it and reimburse your gold or EXP.
Yea I was pretty surprised because I did try persuading my friends to craft cooking and last night he got from lvl 72-80 fast, but for me to get 2 levels from 0-400 is ridiculous.

What complete nonsense. Were these “thousands of testers” 6 year old children or people that drool and still need to wear diapers? I’ve never, ever, EVER seen players struggle to grasp the fundamentals of this game or even most other ones, and GW2 happens to be one of the easiest MMOs to get into and that’s even comparing it to some of the earliest ones.
This is a major upset. Either they are lying or they tested people with less than 70 IQ, and I’m serious about that.
A few angry threads cropping up is not always a cause for action; ALL the threads cropping up being angry? Map chats being filled with upset players? That definitely is.
Your testers were ignoramuses or nonexistent. The experiment has failed, that is all there is to it.
Started this game 2 weeks ago and got 2 level 80s, came into the game and was like “this seems easy and fun enough pretty common sense. Thought it was great because I didn’t have to grind several hundred thousand pigs”. With that I learned how to craft and Pvp, all within the first few days.
In short, their game was well off before, this dumbing down is insulting to everybody but 5 year olds. I came in and understood the game, not because of my previous history with mmos but with common sense. So I agree with you
Seems they have stealthily merged in the chinese crafting xp changes as well. Certainly it was so that the new players won’t be overwhelmed with too much options. [/sarcasm]
If that is the case….. Well kitten , I’m a new player and looking at the beginning leveling options makes me want to quit already, if they take this away from me, I am done. Played for a month and spent quite a few on gems already, I’ll regret quitting but I will. Prolly go back to WoW because they figured the childishness of most of panderia and listened to the reviews from people and made a more adult expansion this time.
Crafting XP has been nerfed quite a while back. Like a lot longer than 6 months, it predates even the first feature patch. I don’t have an exact timeframe of when it happened, sorry, but you get an average of 7-8 levels out of it these days. But 0 xp from maxing jewelcrafting doesn’t sound right, probably best reported as a bug. Maybe they’ll retroactively give you the XP or some consolation tomes.

Guhracie: not a problem, I leveled my first character to 80 through story and hearts/exploration, didn’t do anything else such as crafting and raids. Thought I tried it fresh on my new account with eotm and crafting.
Paradox: thank you for trying it out, appreciate it, please lemme know if it is a bug. I literally got no levels just some exp 1-2 bars.

The thing now is if I want to even try leveling my other professions….
I got a little bit, centimeter by centimeter, I reported it ASAP. But I heard something where some people get the full 10 levels for maxing at 0-500, being still new to this game I thought the end of the leveling from 300-400 or 500 would be the most exp, boy I was wrong
So I came into the game today with the goal of leveling my alt very fast to level 80. I got to level 27 through EoTm so I started my crafting to get to level 80. Knowing that I would get 6-8 levels per crafting profession I would be expecting between 48-64 levels. I started with cooking and followed the guide on gw2crafts and went from 27-29. 2 levels?! Oh well I guess there was a nerf, I’m ok I’ll still get to between 46-62 levels.
But I was wrong!!! I did jewel crafting next, when I got my jewel crafting from 0-400 I gain 0 levels!!!!!! Zero!! How is that possible, is there a bug or a big nerf? Why do we get 0 levels on JC!
