Hello Sander & company, do you guys have any idea where Miku’s been? Haven’t seen him around for a while. :c
Absolutely +1 for you OP. Roy, please consider the points made in this topic!
And so ANet managed to introduce lore for the Full Makeover Kit.

You most likely condemned several innocent people by posting this, but props for coming forward all the same.
So pay-to-win.
Absolutely love how people like to throw around terms which don’t actually mean what they think they mean.
But by your trail of thought, every new expansion in WoW was a pay-to-win move due to how it allowed people to level up higher and grab better gear in comparison to people who wanted to stick it out in earlier expansions, or even the base game.
Save $ 0.50 every day up until the expansion release day, and you too will be able to join the “paying-to-win” crowd.
First world problems.
Leveling is the worst part of any game, OP. Sadly I doubt it’ll be gone, unless anet goes nuts a lá Blizzard and introduces a $40 package which will boost your character to max level. Imagine the cries of rage and dissent on the forums afterwards…
There’s so many plate-laden white knights and constructive & nonconstructive critics that you guys just about balance yourselves out in your eternal struggle of imposing your personal opinion (often reflecting that of a certain group of people) onto one another. Fun read, doesn’t change the fact everyone should have this line in their minds at all times:
Make your own opinion, and either keep it to yourself or let it fly into the world. Whether others like it or hate it, it’s not your concern.
Jesus Christ Almighty.
How do you guys feel knowing that the Chinese are overwhelmed by the new player experience, and thus required toning down thereof which also required the same patch to be applied to the Western version?
I would be pretty darn sad, being indirectly told that one player demographic decides what content I play only because of how numerous they are in the world.
Edit: Not trying to be racist, just looking at the Chinese and Western release notes being strangely similar, with Devon Carver (or one of the other numerous production leads whose name eludes me) talking about an “overwhelming majority” of new players being overwhelmed by the leveling system somewhere on the fields of Reddit. Most interesting, is it not?

Thaks for the response.
This helps a lot.
We moved to Archeage in response.
Much love
Heya,
If you want to move to AA in response, welcome aboard! If it helps, take a look here http://archeage.guildex.org/servers/eu to see where most guilds who quit GW2 move to on AA.
Currently Dahuta will contain the most ex-GW2 guilds.

(hint: the legendary ANet guy interfering with a gvg)
Transmutation splitters have been quietly removed from the cash shop. This is most likely in preparation for the 15th April change, making all ascended/legendary items account-bound even when equipped.
As said in title, a guildie of mine just transmuted two of his legendaries into white-quality items, trying to transfer them to another character, only to realize there are no more transmutation splitters available in the cash shop.
Additionally, would the said guildie be able to receive complimentary splitters because of this after submitting a ticket? After all, ANet didn’t post anywhere about the removal of splitters from the shop.

Oh,and the Dev’s account name is Astrea.1794
Sent him some asparagus as food for thought.
I do wish to see an answer from Spira himself/herself.
I too provide services and work in customer support , u know what is our main motto ? “the customer is king” a new one for you probably
in your village u are probably the only company and people never herd of competitors that offer better services better customer care
you must be blessed to be able to tell your client they can kitten off if they don’t do as u great minds saywell in a normal competitive environment – that is not possible
it is
if the client is unhappy with the product, he is the king. But as soon as he starts insulting you on a personal level (not the company, but the agent he’s talking with) he becomes nothing more than a person insulting another person. That’s why the calls are being recorded, so if a costumer complains about an agent being too negative, they can actually check who started it
yada yada yada.. Lets put it this way, those GvGers are the devs that are trying to have some fun, but a random customer decided to stand in the middle to troll those devs and when being told to move, he said “I am the customer, I am your king”. Who is insulting who now? There is a limit on provocation, which lead to undesirable consequences.
Got cases like that as well
in that case the devs or another person from the company would deal with the customer in a different way – they defenitelly wouldn’t be “omg, that’s so gay of you, tard!” (cause that’s how players reacted)
You seem very pro-anet. Why is that? You don’t seem like a player who only finds entertainment in this game in WvW and its’ daughter forms, so why are you picking on people whose sole source of fun in this game is ridiculed by devs themselves, simply because they can’t monetize it?
By the way, any estimate date when we can have guild wars in Guild Wars 2?
I have put this newfound information on the thief subforum.
“Xirin.8593:
WvW falls under PVE. Anywhere you bring your PVE / regular gear is PVE.
Anywhere you use PVP gear is PVP.
DesertRose.2031:
Hyde.6189:
Really? Can anyone else confirm this?
Just rechecked it if it may have changed, no, W3 skill counts as PvE, so the nerfs for Thieves in W3 are:
*Dancing Dagger: This skill’s damage has been reduced by 50%.
*Tactical Strike: This skill’s damage has been increased by 10% in all formats.”
- Which basically translates that not only do your nades fly 10-15% faster in WvW and PvE, but you also throw out 8 (EIGHT!) nades with the grandmaster grenadieer trait equipped.
Also quoting a fine gentleman from these forums to confirm 8 nades:
With the Grenadier Grandmaster trait you will now throw eight grenades.
Assuming all grenades hit thats actually a 20% increase in PvP and a 33% increase in PvE.
Underwater you still throw 6 grenades (with horrible accuracy) though.
Enjoy bombing people from walls in WvW. :o)
As for sPvP, not interested so not commenting.
