Very often BG forces hit something from JQ and dont get proper opposition and we just go away. So many times I saw a guild dropping outer and inner, waiting for the defenders and when no1 came, just left to pugs cap it. We dont want your Garri, we want you inside fighting for it. This reward was a slap in everybody’s face. The lack of response from Anet team is another one. In the beggining of the season I was very excited about the reward, now I dont know why I even keep playing this. One thing for sure, buy gems? No more. Why should I support a game wich the company dont care about the players enough even to reply a GLOBAL demand. Yes, EU and US servers are asking, complaining and you Anet? Where are you? Im done waiting and “we cant talk about it” is no longer acceptable.

Spawn camp done for tatical reasons against a stronger server its ok, in this days, this would be acceptable if we did to JQ bc they have the ppl to respond properly.
Any other case in this server configuration we have now is just lame imo.

I think more people are upset and bring up ZD’s transfer over MERC or any other guild is because of the timing. MERC transfer happened a week before league? ZD’s transfer happened a week after league while BG was losing to SOR. YES BG was making a comeback on their own accord, but you can’t blame people for suspecting the worse when it happened at that time. Not only that but from what I read here is BG doesn’t even need ZD’s help. ZD’s is a final nail on everyone else’s coffin. ZD’s is the reason it’s a blowout and why other servers “give up”. BG’s core is the main reason for the success in this league.

Zds is a great guild, we’re happy they choose BG and I hope they appreciate BG as much as we appreciate them. You guys rock.
Servers “give up” bc they didnt try hard enough. JQ could still get 1st this week if they wanted to. SoR give up to early, we will never know but I did expected crazy fights everyday against them. Its a pitty things turn out this way.
This is not a blow out, BG just want to win more then SoR or JQ. This week proves what Im saying, JQ got more then 5k lead, and we pushed hard to catch. They could still push back, but for some reason they give it up. Its your fault your server dont stay competitive, not BG’s and for sure not ZDs. Wake up please.

This week was intense, seems things are getting calm now but was so far the more fun match of the season for me. I imagine week 7 will be even more intense, not for the win since will be pretty much over, but for the fights (I hope.)
BG is becoming one of the great servers ingame, and Im very proud of this, but I have a larger point of view about this and I understand that we will only be a strong server if we have stronger enemys to fight.
BG, JQ and SoR bad blood is an exemple, I dont have anything against SoR or JQ players, withouth them I wouldnt had half of the fun I did since the release of this game and still dont know why this hate exist in 1st place. Tbh, some posts in the past made me angry, but in time I’ve got to know some of SoR/JQ players and man, cool and fun ppl just like in BG.
Can you imagine in the near future if Anet put NA servers vs EU servers? We would be destroyed in a matter of hours bc we just cant get along in any way, and sorry but this hate between us is just stupid imo.
Trolls will be trolls (and usless), haters will hate, kids will be kids…nothing we can do about it. But in regard of our relation with our enemy’s, we could and should look at the bigger picture and just allow some respect between us. Im not in favor of rainbows and unicorns 24/7, but this forum is so bad that trolls have to troll other trolls bc they’re the only regulars that come, this PvF already become pointless and old.

Really, 1 year and nothing done. If Anet added more options to the report sistem would be so much easy for all of us.
In here you can’t say what you want bc its against rules and a mod can ban you from forums. But ingame you can do whatever the kitten you want and nothing happen.
Today this troll capped siege hills with balistas, throwed them in the gates as we tryed to repair and even walked around with a Commander tag following our team to every borderland we go. One guy ruined the fun of 40 ppl and Anet dont even say something about it.
If this is the kind of respect you have for your wvw community, mb we should start a strike. Everyone should stop purchasing gems and supporting this game untill you guys show some love and consideration about what we’ve been asking for so long.

To me it is a matter of L2P, you can avoid the red circles like I do you know?. My necro is full condition, I do have a lot a dmg on conditions and can endure a lot of damage, but 1vs1 or any situation I face alone, im dead. Also theres so many condition removal out there, its nearly impossible to kill some1 that KNOW how to play and counter this. WvW is meant for us to work as a group, if you wanna 1vs1 sPvP is waiting for you.
Dear Anet, please keep in mind, the builds we do in our toons are results of hard work and dedication. Every time you nerf a class you seryously spoil the fun and make a lot of us just lose interest in keep playing. Stop the nerfing and make improvements in other classes to counter if you feel its necessary.
If I have to change all my gear( ascended is very hard and boring to get) and/or change class one more time because ppl demand a nerf for pure lack of skill to deal with skilled players, Im just gonna stop supporting this game, wont buy any gems and just gonna move on. This is gone to far and we have a lot of issues that should come 1st like this trolls trowing siege and caping all over our keeps and towers and making impossible to upgrade properly. Thank you.

I love the idea of GvG’s, and I think is a lot of fun, but you really need to GvG on early week? Today a GvG had a terrible queu for us, strategy become impossible since we need to float to be able to defend and attack our enemys. Could you please consider do GvG’s in late weeks, when the match is almost defined? Tyvm for understanding and PLEASE Anet, give us a Arena for GvG?! You would make everyone happy with this!!

Same issue here. Delay of 2~3 sec, wvw and spvp unplayable. Pve annoying since my toon keep getting rolled back and is virtually impossible to engage champions…
Anet please let us know when we can get back to the game. The way it is right now, not a chance.

I’m really having a great time in the last matchs. Sure, this sistem still need to be fixed, and Im hoping Anet will look into this again and again to make it right (not holding my breath tho)

I’m sorry for all good players in SoR, but u guys will get the worst reputation ever bc of few ppl that just can’t enjoy a good moment in your server withouth chest thump and low mention to enemy’s servers. I’m from BG since day 1 of beta, I’ve never heard anything about “buying guilds” or any other nonsense, if gold was involved, was only to help transfers and tbh I dont see whats wrong with that. If [ X ] guild want to come to BG and we want them here too, why not help? What makes a great community? Ppl that help each other. Anyway thats my opinion.

There will always be forum warriors. BG has forum warriors, chest thumpers, and trolls as well. Maybe you guys just need to fight weaker servers for a little bit to get your fair weather players more involved, since obviously you can’t handle a real fight with an enemy that does not get demoralized or gives up. This is why BG always dropped to tier 2 from tier 1, before gobbling up a server to move back up.

Anyway, im satisfied that the last battle of the “old format” will result in a crushing defeat for BG.

About a servers population. In my opinion this has absolutely no relation to a servers wvw population or effectiveness. One of the best servers I have faced was a medium server in Seafarers, they had a huge number of top quality wvw guilds and great coverage.

The argument that BG and JQ are full does not automatically mean they have more numbers for wvw and/or the quality organised guilds. It is very tough for militia facing an organised group, a few wipes can be very demoralizing (must say the SoR militia are very impressive). You will always have more numbers of militia when winning.

Personally I hope BG and JQ are able to recruit more guilds, it is apparent they need these guilds other than in Oceanic/Sea time. I see no problem with recruitment, if you are not strong enough this is the way to become stronger.

Trying to get pve’rs into wvw is so so hard to do and not the answer, unless they join a wvw guild and are trained up. Anyway lets hope Anet’s new ranking system does not mess up wvw, why they could not just do one up one down is beyond me.

There were a few things said in the state of the game specifically about WvW that I want to highlight here.

1) Elementalists, guardians, and thieves will no longer be able to destroy trebuchet projectiles
2) WvW/PvE split for Confusion condition and Retaliation Boon, confusion and retaliation will do less damage
3) Thieves stealth change is being reverted in WvW and PvE, but not sPvP (back to 3 seconds revealed debuff from 4).
There are some general balance changes to the classes, including the introduction of boon hate to warriors and the ability to steal boons using a thief sword skill but I wanted to point to the things that were said specifically relating to WvW.
