1) Depends on situation and encounter, but for just highest dps with the icebow it’s Ele, Guardian, Thief, Ranger, Warrior, Mesmer, Engi, Necro. However Thief pulls ahead of Guardian once the enemy reaches 50% health. Also take into account icebow main strength is the insane burst damage, hence classes like mesmer is very strong with a icebow despite being 6th on the chart due to their lack of burst damage.

2) Usually is, not for condition builds though, I’d imagine.

3) 5 → 4 →3 if you’re the one freezing, 4 → 3 if someone else is. Icebow 2 isn’t really worth using unless you somehow are stuck in water attunement with fire attunement still on a 3 second cooldown or more.

This looks really good in theory, but I actually wonder how well it will work out in practice. I mean both power and condi necromancer uses deathshroud to deal burst damage, fear chain combo’s etc. Using deathshroud just for the stunbreaker might be counterproductive in some situations. Because as you won’t be able to put pressure on your opponent because of the 10 second cooldown on entering deathshroud which gives your opponent the chance pick you out when you are left with no relevant burst because of the cooldown. Unless your chain/burst is ready in DS so you didn’t enter it just for defensive purposes.

AR always been required for fractals. If you genuinely care/dedicated enough to do lv50 you will do what’s required and get that ascended armor like everyone else. As for the stats Ascended armor vs exotic armor is less than 1% so that is totally unrelevant.

The best sign for a “kick happy group” is usually if you find them to be passive-agressive when you join. Like they are already negative about you, or someone else right of the bat.
Other than that the best way to prevent from being kicked, to my experience, is to just stay neutral in the chat. There’s always people who can’t take legit advice and just can’t bare the fact that they’re wrong, so they’ll simply kick you for it

The reason you bring a hammer guardian (or a guardian to fractals) as top priority NEVER been to optimize DPS. With that said the reason you choice hammer over GS – S/F is because many bosses last for a longer amount of time, where as you don’t lose much going hammer instead. What you gain overall team DPS, as your team can eat a few more hits, which dodging is quite ironically a dps loss if you can manage to survive with a hammer guardian so the team dont have to dodge as much.

As for the PS warrior and staff Elementalist thing, for sure it’s more dps to go with a full dps warrior, one S/D and one Staff Elementalist, than a PS warrior and two staff Elementalists. It comes down to a matter of perference what works best for your group. I rather prefer what has the best synergy for a certain envoirment, rather than using what “mathematically” gives the highest dps
Generally speaking for fractals PS warrior seems much better for this as they can manage to take a few hits, might will never spike down below 25 fora seconds, assuming you use GS – A/M 0/5/0/6/3 with proper rotations.
