Níght Guard [ng] is an online family, and our playing and behavior reflects that. If you are mature, easy-going, and comfortable with playing with a group of friends rather than a random collection of individuals, read on!

The guild first started as in NA, and is now newly reforming on Desolation, with a fast growing guild roster, we aim to be challenging top level play in WvW & PvP without the rigid enforcement of hardcore schedules.

What we can offer you ask?!

About 4 weekly runs at around 7PM GMT;
An experienced core, including commanders who have been running since launch, who can answer any questions and help with builds etc;
Commander lessons.
Build theory crafting.
Groups for WvW available 24/7 (perfect for the nocturnal beings among us!)
A really, genuinely fun atmosphere to relax and kick kitten in!

Recruiting is currently open to everyone who wishes to join and we do require you to 100% rep our guild. We appreciate experienced players to add to our ranks and help us establish ourselves as a prominent WvW force in Desolation. BUT! We also are happy to take new players under our wing and come have some fun with us (we were all there once!).

But wait…! We do have some rules after all…

1. Act in a mature, responsible fashion at all times, in all forms of public chat. Guild chat is fine, and everything goes there, but in public – you are representing the guild, not just yourself. No public flames, swearing or spam. Always remember that the [ng] tag above your head is not just some random collection of letters. It stands for something unique, something special, and something that no other guild can get close to. Your behavior should at all time reflect this.

2. Respect the other members of the guild. If you have a problem with anyone, take it up with the officers first, and if you are still unhappy bring it to the leader’s attention. If you are going to be all whiny, turning off guild chat, refusing to party with certain people – just leave. You will save everyone a lot of trouble. We are not here to babysit anyone, and we all play to have fun and relax.

3. We require 100% rep in order to create not just a list of players but a community of friends, I hope you can understand why this is an integral part of the guild we are forming and striving to become.

4. TEAMSPEAK ! You don’t always have to talk or listen to our wonderfully tuned and exceptionally classy accents and topics, BUT we do expect you to endure us when grouped in any competitive play whatsoever!

[NG] Níght Guard is a WvW / PvP orientated guild newly reforming on Desolation, after a long spell over on NA servers! We are a group of players from all over the world aiming to create a sociable community to run with daily.

What we can offer you?!

• A sociable group of people, to group up with in primarily WvW & PvP but all aspects of the game.

• An experienced core, including commanders who have been running since launch. Who can answer any questions and help with builds etc.

• Commander teaching, a growing number of people ask about learning the basics to commanding, shortly we will have a regular schedule in place for people to come and learn (something Desolation is desperate for!).

• A schedule of at least 4 weekly runs at around 7PM GMT, & much more when our numbers increase (Currently aiming for a 20-25 man group).

• Finally, we hope to offer a fun and exciting new community for all our members, and be a positive influence within the Desolation community.

A newly established guild on YB, we are currently recruiting for seasons as a semi-hardcore WvW guild. Primarily focusing on open field, zerg busting and eventually GvG’s. We have EU, OCX and NA players and are looking to expand on all timezones. We are aiming to run most days of the week with 15-25 throughout seasons, but above all, have fun doing it! We are most eager to recruit players wanting to improve on their current skill level, no matter where that might be.

Ah, just speaking to a few friends, apparently it’s been around for a while, I’ve just never noticed it before, not fun in tournament games haha

Anyone having the same problem? blinking from mid to the waterfall side cliff and getting stuck inside? Happened to me only in the last day or two… Possibly new since the patch. Means I have to leave and rejoin the map

As someone who played daily in the tournament and put in a lot of hours to help our server get 1st place, I have not yet received any reward either…. Stop aiming your anger to the WvW team. As far as I know there are only a few dedicated Dev’s on the WvW Team…. They have very little resources given to them by ANet and aren’t doing bad considering…. Instead I suggest ANet realize that WvW is important for a big player base and you maybe transfer a few of your army of PvP dev’s to help out on the overburdened WvW dev’s.
ANet have also been very focused on the Chinese release

As a recent ‘bandwagoner’ to HoD, I find this excuse of bandwagon server slightly null. Yes HoD got a lot of transfers, but the people who transferred are now HoD members. If you scroll up on this post there is a lot of ‘HoD are going to get crushed etc etc’ but as of now were 30k up on FA and with an outnumbered pug group we were wiping FA guild groups all morning. So carry on with the ‘Hordes of Denravi’ because despite the trash talking a few days ago, HoD haven’t had the ‘beating’ we were promised yet.
