Guild Wars 2

I would really like a list of what maps you have and haven’t completed for the Invasion Canceler achievement. With all the random updates and overflows that aren’t doing the invasion, it’s hard to keep track of what I have and haven’t done.

I have a friend who is going to buy Guild Wars and I was just wondering if I could help him do his personal story. Form a party and go into their story and assist them or is that not possible?

I’ve finished my story already and I’m level 80. If it is possible, do I get scaled down?

The filters for trading post a good but what I would really like is an option to switch between heavy, medium and light equipment. I’m tired of going through multiple pages of armour that my character can’t wear.

Is it possible to transmute items that have already been transmuted?

I’ve been looking everywhere in Wayfarer Foothills for the Refugee Goblet but with no success. I’ve looked at every place posted by dulfy.net as well as asking the general community ingame to where it’s located but I still can’t find it. I’ve searched the area multiple times.
I’ve searched for it with another character (the one that didn’t hand in the first soldier toy) but still can’t find it.

Is this a bug or am I somehow searching in the wrong place because I’ve found it in Diessa Plateau.

EDIT: Didn’t know private wasn’t the same as unlisted. It’s now fixed.

I have yet to witness the logging off when downed by anyone but from what I hear it’s absolutely cowardly. Just take the death and damage on your armour. Why would people do this? If people are doing this on purpose to avoid breaking equipment then Anet should implement a form of punishment for those that do to prevent it.
I would never leave the game whilst down, I’ll take the death. People who do so are pathetic.

The dragon events are amazing at first but after some time they have lost their epic essence. I hope sometime in the future Anet implement a dynamic boss fight with Legendary Dragons. I want a monster that’s bigger and better than the dragons we currently have ingame. I want a dragon that’ll actually kill players instead of just knocking them over.
Basically just saying that a larger scaled epic battle between players and a Legendary Dragon would make the game so much more fun in terms of events.

What are your opinions?

@Thiago I’ve tried turning the FOV off and tested but still get the low fps. I tried turning it on and off through shortcut target commands and with it completely off and I honestly see no difference.

I’m trying to record some gameplay but when I used Fraps or MSIAfterburner recorder my frames went from a stable 40-60 to a laggy unplayable 8 fps stable.
Why does this happen?
I tested recordings in both populated and non-populated areas and still got the same results. I remember a few weeks ago I could record fine with a minimum loss of 5 frames to a maximum of 20 at populated areas.

Does this lag occur from the new maintenance patches released recently or something else, I don’t really know the reason?

I disagree on the dying part. In WvW I only die if I get swarmed by players. I’m a staff user with all exalted armour but my armour only increases precision and power which leaves me at 13k HP and very little toughness. I manage to survive rather well in PvP always ranking in top 3 as a staff user. To me, elementalist’s are pretty kitten strong played in a burst damage and support class. I pick people off with my range.

I don’t usually play mages in MMOs but I’ve taken a large liking to GW2’s one and it’s my main. I haven’t played GW1 so I couldn’t compare the two.

I want to refer a friend but I’m not sure if they have to download the full game or do they just download the event specific maps. I don’t want friends to download 12GB just for 2 days.
