Everybody wants everything handed to them. There is no “challenge” in games anymore. It’s all about putting forth no effort and receiving the best rewards. The large playerbase are the “casuals” where companies get most of their money. If developers make the game challenging and fun the majority of the playerbase will not play and they will lose money.
But without this “challenging” aspect we have nothing but complaints about how games are too easy. It’s a vicious cycle and there is no middleground.
You are able to transfer servers buy converting gold to gems and transferring that way. There is no need to use real money. I would suggest to run CoF path 1 for money or play the trading post.
There’s no reason to not have AR though since it’s so easy to get for early fractals. The backpieces from the southsun event is 5 AR right there making 10-19 easy.
You should get amulets with your Laurels first since that is the only way right now to obtain them. You can get accessories with guild commendations and rings from FoTM pristine relics. It’s recommended to get the utility infusion for the amulet because you can infuse it with more options such as the 20% more gold or more Magic find.
For rings and accessories offensive/defensive do not really matter in many peoples opinion. It’s honestly better right now to just pick whichever one you want and infuse it with +5 AR from the fotm vendor for 75 relics. Utility infusions are the best in my opinion though.
Was running cof p1 path and it kicked me off saying something about my account free trial ran out? Now it’s telling me the client can’t access the login server. Anyone else?
I got the backpiece from southsun and I like the look of it. If I transmute it to my current backpiece and in the future ascend that will I keep the look of it or will it go to its original look?
I consider myself “casual” and they are fun for me. If you die because you didn’t know something about the dungeon that doesn’t make it hard. Dungeons or this game isn’t at all that difficult imo.
Stealth is what makes the thief. Stealth is fine. People who don’t know how to play against them will die. People will complain because they don’t know how to play against them. People who have never played a thief will also complain about stealth.
TL;DR: People complain about everything even when they know nothing about it.
I hope more people play SPvP. It’ll be fun killing people who don’t normally pvp. Especially those who don’t know what “line of sight” is.
These kind of responses are why i never go near sPvP.
Didn’t mean to sound like a jerk about it. People who don’t pvp will get stomped by people who play pvp more. Even if you get stomped the only way to get better IS to get stomped. Someone shouldn’t be able to play pvp if they’re not pvper’s and expect to do well when they have no experience in pvp.
All I’m saying is it’ll be fun to stomp people. If those people can learn what they’re doing wrong and why they died and adapt their playstyle to do better then you can be the one who is stomping people.
Killing new people in pvp is a way to teach them how to pvp believe it or not.
i guess this is something PVPers will never understand, you “stomp” someone who usually doesn’t PVP and more than likely they will not PVP again.
PVP in guild wars 2 is a joke anyway, i would be more than happy if they said they were going to concentrate on bigger better more innovative PVE content instead of trying to focus on PVP “balance” that will never appease PVPers anyway.
Yeah appeasing to ppl like you is a great way to kill pvp. PvP is boring and repetitive anyway in GW2, so they should pull the plug.
If you think PvP is boring and repetitive anyways why are you even in this thread? You know there will be PvP discussion in this thread. You don’t like PvP. Anything you say will be one-sided and will contribute nothing.

Also here is how to counter stealth. Play a class with stealth. Wherever you go to avoid the combat, that’s most likely where they will go. The best way to counter a class is to play it yourself and figure out how people kill you. I have no problems with thieves as a non thief because I’ve played a thief before.
When they stealth I have a very good idea which way they will run based on what’s going on around them. Follow them and kill them.
TL;DR: Do not complain about stealth if you haven’t played a stealth class. If you have you’re just bad at pvp.

Want to know the counter to ANYTHING in this game? Don’t get hit. Just because some people die to certain things doesn’t mean there isn’t a way to counter it. People need to get over things and stop complaining so much. But we’re humans. All we do is complain.
Also legendary weapons are too hard to get. plz put dem in vendors for 5g cause its unfair. thx
One legendary will give you more gold than you can go through. Why would you sell two of them?

You didn’t specify how far in the future. Thousands of gold WILL in fact last you through your “future” updates. Unless you just buy everything you see.
Selling them would be a bad economic idea, but maybe a gem price to make them account bound would be something Anet would consider.
A good solution they could implement. I agree with this idea. Make it so you can unbind weapons for x amount of gems based on what rarity the weapon is.
I closed out my client and now when I try to click guild wars 2 again nothing happens. It isn’t even bringing up the play now button. It feels like just a clickable picture on my desktop that doesn’t do anything. Is this normal or is this just on my end?
