This is a bump!
It appears many many many people had their weapon skins reset after the patch. Is there any official confirmation this can be fixed, we’ll get the investments refunded, or at the very least that it won’t happen again?
The skin still exists. It looks like they just reset all weapon skins with the patch for some reason
I had the same issue!
About two days ago I transmuted the “Whisperer” skin onto my rifle. There were no issues all of yesterday. Then, when I signed in today, the skin was removed from my rifle. The item is still there – same name, same stats, but it’s back to the original skin.
I’m posting this instead of going and buying another whisperer rifle because I’m concerned that this will keep happening – the one silver cost of the weapon isn’t so bad other than potentially adding up long term, but I only have so many transmutation stones!
