Guild Wars 2

Hi all, with summer here I need to do at least something productive so I thought I’d actually try and code something rather than read another book and not actually put anything into practice. I am stuck between writing a wrapper in C# for the API or writing an actual dashboard type program for GW2. I was wondering if there are any limits on the amount of requests we can/should send in a certain period of time? Second, is there a tool/resource where I can see the list of used item ID’s or at least what numbers they range from? Third would anyone actually be interested in a C# wrapper for V2 of the API?

Hi all. I have just started to play ele and aim to use a d/d build mainly. (will be running staff when in guild raids). I was looking at this build: http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Elementalist_-_D/D_Roamer but I can not get any celestial gear yet, as I have just kitted my thief out and am left with 50g; I was wondering what alternative builds there were to this one; where I will not need celestial armor… Any help is appreciated.

Like the max ammount of players on screen. I believe that is what it is anyway.

I see. My main issue is my lag, I can’t enjoy thief etc due to this. I found with ranger I could sit back and still help while not being so close where I couldn’t react quick enough. I am building a new gaming PC soon so I will hopefuly have this sorted soon. I may have a go at a mesmer later then, no harm I guess. Would still be nice to see others’ opinions too :P

My graphics are on lowest possible, with the exception of the maximum models on screen upped once, having that on minimum sucked lol. Good to know I am not alone. I just feel like I am going to be doing this for a while before I “settle” down to level my first toon to 80.

So I am fairly new to the game and can not really enjoy it as much as most due to my low FPS (25 average in pve). But I still love this game lol. So I made a Ranger a while back, got to 39 and wasn’t enjoying ranger as much as I was at start, so I made a thief which I wanted to have as my first toon in the first place. I am now lvl 28, and already feel like making a new toon (mesmer) to try it out. Am I the only one that does this? I think it may be because I simply have not found my ideal class, but it feels a little silly to keep doing this… So, anyone else find themselves doing this?
