I’m not a massive lore buff or anything but it seems to me that human’s have little to no outcome on the state of the world. Aside from Logan (and yourself of course) there don’t seem to be any other figure head “Humans”. Every personal story quest lv 30+ of course is run by someone of a different race. There’s Forgal, for Vigil, and gixx for for the priory. Haven’t ran whispers yet tho to be fair, not sure if there’s a human there. Then of course Trahearne. Humans just don’t seem to be very important. Did anyone else feel like this?
Humans lost the wars because Anet hates humans and loves char for some reason.
GG humans, better luck in GW3 if they show up.
OPI have all the gear I can ask. But what can I even do with this gear?
It’s dress up. You get the gear to look nice. That’s it.
I blame people farming FoW, it was ugly and overpriced.
Why do people buy lottery tickets or go to vegas?
You pay $60. If you win, you get a game you really like. If not, that’s life. Live and learn.
Not really. At least not yet.
I got bored with it kind of early on compared to some other games I’m playing. Not a good sign. :\
See, the problem I see isn’t the talk about the criticisms of the game, or the negative feedback.
The problem I’m continually seeing is people declaring the game dead, that it’s a ghost town, nobody is ever playing it and so forth. If you want to make those claims, back it up with evidence and not merely hearsay.
Actually GW2 should be losing players, at least some. Most games get a lot of players when they release and them hemorrhage some of that player base. No game has a 100% retention rate, not even EVE or WoW. I think for most people, they’ve stopped playing or stopped seeing people playing like it was opening weekend and declared the game dead.
Whether it is a problem or not remains to be seen.
The best part about GW2 is that it isn’t GW.
The worst part about GW2 is that it isn’t GW.
IMO, it was a little overhyped as well, which is feeding part of the negitivity. It was supposed to be the WoW killer, and while it might end up being a piece of the puzzle, it isn’t the one game that will topple wow.
Yours truly, a formerly active member of the old GWguru community, has followed GW2 since it was announced. If you remember me or not, that’s not important. What is important is like every other… person… on the internetz, I have an opinion of the game. I think that GW functions as a game, under a set of circumstances, but failed to do something important, see my second link.
Why I think this game fails to meet expectations
TL:DR GW2 fails to capture a players attention like it should, the principle reason for this is it botched the first 5 minutes of the game and after that, the discovery process of the game is meh.
PS. I still hate levels.
PPS. I still hate the current Sylvari design.
