I think you’re mistakenly attributing the cause of bandwagoning here.

If we considered this a breadth vs depth argument (breadth being the total number of players transferring and depth being the number of times each player transfers), bandwagons are not caused by small groups transferring frequently but larger groups transferring sporadically, concentrated around the same time frame.

So your solution wouldn’t really address the issue, I think you’d want to focus on the other side of the transfer process. For example, increasing the cost of transferring to a server that has already received X amount of transfers that week.

Frontline are meat shields… just like any other game, and their ONLY purpose is to guard the valuable players in the back, and get them into position where they can bomb.. Frontline are NOT meant to win the fight (hence the kitten damage they do because of toughness/vitality builds).

It is your backline people.. your pew pew blow em up rangers/druids, engies, elems necros and the like that win the fight for you and more commanders need to respect this.

The meta you’re talking about is pretty old, pirate ship hasn’t been viable since the stability buff. All of the top tier guilds are nearly 100% frontline nowadays and pug groups are going to try and mirror those compositions.
If you don’t care enough to keep up then you should just learn to ignore/block the people pushing for it.

Their composition is pretty far from overpowered so dunno what you guys are whining about, also stacking boons has been meta since the game came out. “Boonshare” specifically refers to mesmers and normally involves stacking quickness/resistance.

I will agree condi is boring to watch nowadays so I suppose streaming/recording is kinda ded. Was gonna look for you guys last night XT but we were pretty fat.

We’ve done GvG many times with other T1 guilds, and we’ve had a bunch of group fights with tRex whilst roaming. Whenever we’re asked to GvG, we do, and win majority of the time. Most guilds we come across will complain we’re dirty and can only gank, but when we offer to organize a fair GvG, they either don’t respond or turn it down.

But thank you. Harassing and killing is how we do. o/

@OP: The best thing you can do vs griefing is to not respond or react. The players harassing you want a reaction from you. Ignore them. They lose.

But yeah I think that guy from DB is just a tad on the salty side. I dunno I had a good time when I ran into the thieves and such from QQ, they always go for the kill and it at least made running around interesting (as opposed to JQ at the time which was zzzzz).

Agreed with the ignore option, they’re fishing for the reaction and by not giving them anything they’re the ones left looking salty.

yo Lireil I’ll apologize for that one, you guys were right next to the wp and I saw a downed and didn’t realize it was only 2 of you. Most of the guild is on me so we’re bound to add in. You and I both know it’s not common for us to outnumber and zerg you guys down.

You guys are one of the only bg groups that gives us close to even numbered fights, the rest of bg is either non-existent or popping orange swords on the 6 or 7 of us. You guys are the 1% and the rest of your server is probably the most boring server I ever came up against (and I’ve hopped a dozen servers and fought in every tier). I’ve never seen players take dying in WvW so seriously.

I don’t think there’s a single group on bg I would consider “fight” oriented, most of them are “winning” oriented, and when I say winning I mean it in the most Charlie Sheen way imaginable.
