Yes, leave a large portion of your players locked out of a very casual and harmless feature for everyone to have. Makes sense. On that note, make Guild halls Raid worthy and only let the top elite of elite have them.
At the very least I’d like Anet to consider not to put Karl in charge of Ele elite specs in the future. Give us the people who were behind amazing specs like scrapper/Chrono/Herald. I don’t keep up with their names but from what I’ve played of Chrono and scrapper they are a heck of a lot more fun (viability aside, though both chrono and scrapper are very good).
This is a little harsh, I’m sure he put time into Tempest and to read that would probably be a little soul crushing. Also, wasn’t Karl part of the Reaper as well,( I don’t follow the names either so I could be off here) which seems to be widely accepted.
I think they just need to explain what exactly they were trying to do with Tempest, because none of us are getting it. If what their answer is bad, well
Have to agree. I tried it for a bit and it was simply not fun. Once a staff ele main, always a staff ele main it seems.
I only want to add one thing to this entire thread in hopes that they actually read it and use it to better the game;
I was having next to no fun in the first few hours in HoT, not because the game itself was not fun, but half of the new zone was gated behind these masteries. I was running around aimlessly in hope of finding events ect, as I had no idea how this zone worked ( I skipped the betas to save myself the burn out). This was not fun, the grind for the first few masteries was just plain horrible, and these events hardly do anything about that.
Now, with the bad said, I am having fun again after I finally got my first few masteries to get around. The gliding and the mushrooms ect are fun and so on. Getting past that hurdle was a struggle but I am glad I did for the most part. If I had to make any suggestion, it’d only to put these few MUST HAVE masteries as story quest rewards. Give us gliding after a story quest, then let us progress more. Give us the bouncy mushroom ’’mastery’’ after another story quest ect ect. This would make the pacing a lot better in my opinion.
Although this is fleshed out well, it serves almost no purpose. There’s literally no reason for Anet to ’’force’’ players to buy an expac sooner then others, it would just breed more annoyance within the community. Look at how many people whined about ‘’not knowing how much content we’re actually getting with the expac’’. This would simply add more whining with ‘’So we’re forced to buy without knowing ANYTHING about an expac to get yet another token currency’’.
Like I said, well fleshed out…but serves no purpose.
No, you’re not missing anything. They never said every single week will have a teaser.
I’m referring to this: https://twitter.com/GuildWars2/status/614560129573351424
Please remember that a very large portion of your player base doesn’t agree with the court’s decision today.
I honestly think out of the few million who have bought, and or play this game, a very small portion of the player base disagrees with the courts decision today.
This topic is lol
In before closure because people took celebrating a good change in the world as instant doom of a kittening game.
