Camera during death

Anyone else missing the Guild Wars 1 camera when they were dead?

For those who don’t know, Guild Wars 1 had a camera feature that when dead, you can select a fellow party member (player, henchman, or hero) and watch from their perspective. You cannot control the member, but you are still able to move the camera around as if it were your character.

While many of you may argue that resurrection through waypoints or simply waiting for your allies to revive you quickly may make this feature pointless, I believe it still has its uses.

The main situations where this could come in handy are in strategic fights or areas with little to no waypoints. Examples of these would be Fractals of the Mists or World vs World. I am sure many players have noticed that in Fractals, once you’re dead, you’re dead until the whole party wipes or you’re revived. Similarly in WvW, once you’ve died, you could choose to waypoint but that may take you to the other side of the map entirely or wait for a possible revival from allies. Also, it may be better to wait for people to revive you when you’re world has the advantage.

By implementing Guild Wars 1 camera, some issues become revolved. When dead, a player is not confined to a dark screen that focuses in on your character. With the camera, you can view from a fellow party member’s perspective and look around as well. Not only does this provide better death experiences, it also may help create strategic situations where 1 player may not notice initially.

Beat it 10 times

Charr
Warrior
No buffs (banners, speed boosts)

Honestly first time is hardest. After you do it once, strangely everyone does it so easily haha

I'm happy the Clock Tower is so hard.

It’s hard the first time, but afterwards it is really easy.
Keep up the positive attitude! That’s what makes you a great player.

Besides, you get a lot of fun just “messing” up with other players haha

Emissary of the Mad King - Can't count?

If the “Attend the Party” is required for Emissary of the Mad King, that that is terribly planned/designed.
This is assuming that “Attend the Party” is part of the Act 3 Special Event.
If that is required, not a lot of people will be able to get the Emissary of the Mad King title. You’ll be able to get 4 points from Halloween Huntin’, Halloween events completed, Trick or Treat bags opened, and It’s a Mad King’s World.

However, considering how Anthony said Pumpkin Carving doesn’t count, then that means you HAVE to “Attend the Party”.

Which is a piece of crap. I for one probably won’t make the time for the party and many other people will not either.

Of course, there is a possibility that the “Party” isn’t the one time Special Event.

Access to "older" Acts?

As the title states, I would simply like to know whether the Halloween Acts are accessible as soon as the new Acts are released.

Example: If you have not completed Act 1 and Act 2 has just been released, will you be able to do Act 1 or will you be forced to do Act 2.
